GloFish

What is your opinion on these fish for sale as pets? Or, just your opinion in general?

I wonder what kind of phosphores are added to their food and I also wonder if someone hasn't yet created a new photosphore which causes this fish to change colours with changing temperature? This has its advantages too. One can easily see in a glance if the temperature is right. :)

Hmmm, I'm not sure how I feel about the use of genetically-modified animals as pets, I think it should only be used for research. I think its unecessary, even though I must admit they are cute! :)

I dont think they're allowed to be sold here in the UK (?) and I'm not sure whether I would buy them if they were.

I bought one of each color. The orange one died in less than 24 hours. :( Must have been stress. The pet store refunded me, but I had to provide a sample of my aquarium water to make sure it wasnt my fault.

They are very bright and hyper. I have not tested to see if they really glow in the dark under a blacklight.

Awww :( Zebrafish are usually quite resilient I've found, maybe he was already sick.

My cichlids had a baby :D

I just found out that it was not my fault. The fish in the tank at the pet shop has ick! I couldnt get another one, of course, so they wrote me out an IOU for another GloFish once they get healthy again.

Awww, baby fish are too cute! I love watching the babies!

I have a Tiger Oscar. :) I rescued him from a Wal-Mart years ago.

My poor fishies! :cry: They all have ick! You can see it very well on the pink GloFish. Im playing fishy doctor. I added a dose of ick medicine to the aquarium. According to the medicine it should cure the ick in about 2, maybe 3, days. I hope no more of my fish die from the ick. :(

I'm not going to have children until it's legal to inject them with dye so they glow.

I want to have bright children. I'll name one Bloo, one Gween, and one Poyple.

Well, there is no such thing as watching too much Foster's, first off.

And second, no. I didn't even put that together. I just felt like spelling things oddly.
