They've converted.
As I type this, my Mom is on her way home from the Michigan game. She got offered a ticket to go with some friends from work and she took it. And now, both LanieMom and LanieDad want to get tickets to their game with Purdue next week:blueeek:.
And then there's me...the lonely Buckeye fan:bluesad:.
Sadly, I'm thinking the only way I'll ever get to see a college football game is to commit the ultimate sin and go to a Michigan game.
Anybody wanna adopt me?;).

No.
Can't anyone just go to a football game because they enjoy watching the sport?

As the saying goes up here "Some lines are never meant to be crossed."
My brother has learned that the hard way ever since he started school. Of course he can trash talk with the best of them, I'm sure.

Isn't that like saying "can't you just go to a concert because you like music?"

Not really because there is MANY genre of music and many types of sporting events. If i like Rock music and go to a ROck concert of a band I may not enjoy, but there are other acts where I may enjoy it. then yes that is similar.

Lanie, come be a Rutgers fan! I'll adopt you.
You don't even have to change your colors from red to something less worthy.

I can be there by the middle of the week, pinks. Did they beat Cincinnati yesterday?

No. :susp2:
Stinking Mike Teel threw 4, count 'em, FOUR interceptions, two that ended good drives, and one that led directly to a Cincinnati TD.

Ouch. That hurts. Sorry to hear about that.
I was just glad USC lost. It was like Michigan losing to Appalachian State all over again...except not as sweet;)

You know, I didn't even know that! We had a lot happening this weekend, and I didn't pay much attention to the scores. I did hear about Wisconsin, though.
I think it's just not good to be ranked that high before they play, or even early in the season. Everyone has their game on when they play the top ranked teams.
And I just checked, Notre Dame won. :(

That's a first. I saw an ND game a few weeks ago, their QB wasn't very good. Of course he has big shoes to fill
Yeah, USC lost to Stanford...the 40 point underdog.
