Perhaps I'm a bad fan, but I think I'd be a little bummed if Cynthia showed up in the setlist at my show, given all the more exciting options Bruce could have chosen. The song just never did much for me.

AMIW

21 girls in their summer clothes

Oct 10th, 2007, 08:12 PM
i thought he'd either take out Thundercrack or the song before American Land (whatever song is in that slot) and toss in Jersey Girl

I really love YOUR OWN WORST ENEMY on the CD. Hope it translates well into the show.

I heard INCIDENT in PHILLY. I know what you mean AMIW. It's hard to hear anything before or after that. It's one of those surreal songs where the lyrics and music lift you to another place and time and you forget you are just standing at a Bruce show, singing with him.....

OK, and I like your analysis of 12/Incident/12. Makes perfect sense to sandwich an entire show around that one song.

AMIW

Odd, the setlist at BruceSpringsteen.net doesn't list Living n The Future or Dancing In The Dark. The have a 23-song set posted.

Own Worst Enemy sounds really good. The only thing I could say is that the band needs to just tighten it up a bit and Bruce needs to have some faith. I loved it!
