How far is that from the venue? I booked at Hilton Financial District but hate to pay such high prices. I'm traveling solo so convenience and safety (after late night drinking) are important. Thanks

Here is the link to the hotel. It's about 1.5 miles from Faneuil Hall if that helps

And here's Frommers review

Across the street from the Prudential Center complex, the Hilton is primarily a top-notch business hotel, but vacationing families also find it convenient and comfortable. Guest rooms are large, soundproofed, and furnished in modern style, with oversize work desks. Units on higher floors of the 26-story tower enjoy excellent views. The weekend packages, especially during the winter, can be a great deal. The Sheraton, across the street, is three times the Hilton's size (which generally means less personalized service), has a better pool, and books more vacation and function business.

Facilities: Restaurant (American/Continental); bar; indoor pool; well-equipped fitness center; concierge; courtesy car; 24-hr. business center; 24-hr. room service; laundry service; same-day dry cleaning; executive-level rooms. Rooms for travelers with disabilities are available

It's close. Boston is a very walkable city. Take it - that's a great price.

Gail...
Copley is 2.5 miles from the Gahden.
Email me before pulling the trigger. My plans have slightly changed and you may get the privilege of my fugly mugg
in the same room after all.
From Copley appears to be a green line ride from Copley Station to North Station.
You still in need for a single GA 11/18?
I'll put you on da Mick's list if so.

You would want to take the green line after the show to Copley. It is walkable, but the "T" is a better option.

Hotel alert....
Just Pricelined the 4 star Hyatt Regency downtown from 11/18-11/20 for a $74 bid.
Started out with $69 then increased by $5 and it took it.
Hyatt website rate is $159.

How, what am I missing? Tried Priceline and rejected at $80 for dates & Boston? What is the secret?

keep trying. I tried 70 once and was rejected and 5 minutes later, it was accepted.

Tried 70 for 3 nights no deal but took it for 2. Now if I can just get tickets to the show that easy. Looks like the Hyatt is the place to be in Beantown, let's roadhouse

Your not going to get the rate/rrom if you try Saturday to Tuesday. Saturday night is very pricey so what you may have to to is get Sunday and Monday nights then use priceline for a seperate request for Saturday night.

Prince...john's correct. PL rejects that rate for a three nighter due to the Saturday inclusion.
Am also needing Saturday and having to bid separately.
So far it's rejected th $65-$73 range for 3-4 star in downtown and copley.
Will post my bid when successful and where.

I actually tried this morning for a 2.5 star in Copley at $95 and did not get a room. I know that the only 2.5 star rated room in the Copley Section is The Courtyard Copley Square. I try everyday for about $90 and will post when I do finally win a bid. Not sure why but maybe there's something going on in Beantown on Saturday night

Dane Cook is at the gahden, but I don't suppose that explains the lack of bargain rate rooms....

11/17 hotel...
3 star @ Boston Logan/Saugus will be the Wyndham Chelsea for $74/$87 tax inclusive.

Again, we're at the Hyatt show nights....
Just needed cheap digs on Saturday to throw our bags in da room and head downtown or wherevah.

Tried Pricelining 11/17 but got up to $100+ bid with no takers. So we went for the Hotwire deal.

Carry on...Congrats to the Red Sox Nation....
I love your city...
