I think its #12 or #13 on the Billboard Hott 100.

I think its #12 or #13 on the Billboard Hott 100.

Really? I really thought that song would be in the top 5 as the album release date approaches. I guess it's the audience impressions that is pulling her down.

Why would anyone expect the song to be in the top 10 going on 2 months after its release with no promotion compared to the other artists who are actually out there doing interviews and performing for the public?

didn't the same thing happen to Beautiful Liar? That's so legendary :susp2:

I haven't heard more than 30secs of the song "Beautiful Liar", and I don't really care to either; not that its a bad song.. I just don't know or care.

Eh, "Gimme Moar" is still a hit.

well, Gimme Moar is still a hit, but not a bigger one than lafy taffy, and they're about the same quality. I must say I'm dissapointed GM didn't make it to #1, let alone spending only 3 weeks on the top 10 :susp2:

But where does the surprise come from? She's not promoting the song yet its her first single off her 'comeback' album. If it wasn't for digital sales counting for almost half of the Hot 100 chart position, she wouldn't have cracked the top 20 because "Gimme More" never reached max radio audiences.

Plus... lets not even her own personal anti-promotion.
