Judge Rules Brit Won't Get Custody Back!

Britney Spears is not responsible enough to be a loving mother to her two children, a Los Angeles judge thinks.


On Tuesday, Commissioner Scott Gordon announced his ruling in the bitter baby battle between the frequent and habitual drug user and Kevin Federline .


Brit Brit will get two visits per week with Tater Tot and Small Fry. They will be from 12 noon to 7 PM and they must be monitored by a court-appointed supervisor.


Additionally, she will only get one overnight visit a week with her kids. Again monitored.

Issuing his order today, Commissioner Scott Gordon gave Spears three visits per week, two from 12:00 Noon to 7:00 PM and one overnight visit. The visits will be monitored.

Spears and K-Fed are ordered to figure out holiday schedules with the kids.

Britney must submit evidence that she childproofed her pool area by Friday.

In the order, the Commish wrote that when Britney has the kids, "the environment at the house ranged from chaotic to almost somber with little communication at all." The Commish also recounts what the parenting coach complained of -- that "during all three of my visits, Ms. Spears rarely engaged with the children in either conversation or play."

The coach also said Spears seemed to have "a lack of general attention at times" but there was nothing she would characterize as "abusive in a traditional sense."

And then the most damning comment from the parenting coach: "The problem is that unless Ms. Spears realizes the consequences of her behavior and the impact that it has [on] her children, nothing is going to be successful."

I was expecting this. The only thing that bothers me is that people will criticize her for not having full custody, without realizing that this isn't a unique case. Britney is steadily employed, has contractual obligations, while Kevin is at home all day presumably not doing much. The kids would be better off with him.

Let Britney send the check in every month, other superstars, (predominately male) superstars do it all the time. They don't get looked down upon.

Kristan, although it may seem logical to assume that Brit's on drugs, there's no solid proof.

It's kind of distastful to release her album admist what is going on..

Like getting her music out is what is important..

If I were her, my main piority would be getting custody of my kids back..

Its obviously Britney doesnt care about her album seeing as how she hasnt promoted it at all. Doing the math she must have been recording when she was still married to Kevin and had 50/50 custody with him. I think she cares about her kids and seeing as how her parenting coach who has actually seen her with them states that it is clear she loves them there is something else going on with her. I definitely would not give her back 50/50 she has only been acting like she has some sense for one week, wasnt it less than 2wks ago that she lost visitation? Britney seems like a selfish mother now I dont now if that has only been going on this year or since Sean was born but either way she needs psychological help not rehab.
