Okay, so like, this topic comes up every few WEEKS(at least), and the Search option is actually very handy once you actually think to use it.

Search for "recording" and "CD" under the Aaron Carter Forum in the Advanced Search option. :)

Barring that, or granted you're too lazy to even check the first few pages of the forum for the dozen or so threads about this, no one knows when his CD is coming out, he's been "recording" for months -- dare I say years -- now, and since his legal issues with Lou Pearlman are now officially and permanently over and done with hopefully we'll see/hear new stuff from him soon.

(You'll have to excuse any rudeness you might think you see here, as I've spent at least half of my six-hour shift at work today pointing people either in the direction of the children's department or towards the cash registers right across from where I was standing. That sort of thing can take it's toll on ya.)

thanks for the info . I'm not lazy but busy too , I totally understand how that feels . I'm in homeschooling and I help my mom with her job sometimes and some of the people are just so crazy you wouldn't believe . hope you get a good night's sleep , thanks again .

P.S. I know this topic comes up alot and I just thought I might have missed one the threads saying something about it .

I heard about an album coming out in the summer too. but now I hear it's winter , I guess he 's just trying to make it perfect but how long have we been waiting ? He just needs to send out the cd already , no matter if it sounds like crap or not , we'll still buy it , we're fans till death for him and I think he knows that and that's way he's trying so hard but come on !!!!!!!!! just bring the music and we'll listen

I'm sure there's a whole team of lawyers that have been keeping his career at a stand-still until all of this Lou Pearlman BS is sorted out once and for all(from what I can see, there's still a little bit that needs to be dealt with.). It's not that easy, to just make a CD and send it out to anyone to get it distributed. Not to say I don't think he's been working hard to make sure it's his best, but I'm sure that's not the MAIN reason we haven't heard new music from him in a long time.

So all you can do is stop complaining about how long you've been waiting for his album and just learn to be patient. I realize these are foreign concepts to quite a few people on LD, but OH WELL!

If you really think it's worth the wait like you all say you do, then just wait already and be ready to celebrate when it finally DOES come out.

I'm a usually a patient person and I understand about the Lou Pearlman thing , and I understand it's not that easy to make a cd. My brother is a disc dockey and remixes music and comes up with some good music too . It's a long process , it depends on the artist and sometimes other people on how long it takes to make one , I've heard of one taking nine monthes . I am a patiet person and I'm not trying to complain so I'm sorry if it sounds like I am , but you could also inform other people on here to be quiet to seeing as a few impatient people on here have a habit of complaining alot about this topic . I'm sorry for being rude about this but I only asked a question in the first place . thanks for the Lou Pearlman bit though . Again sorry about all of this .

P.S. I do think it's worth the wait .

I didn't mean to imply you were rude, and my post was directed at all the people on here who've complained quite a bit about the CD who DON'T seem to understand much about the music business and how it works.

Also, lol I didn't mean to imply you didn't think it was worth the wait. I just meant that there are people who sit around and talk about how awesome they think the CD will be and then start b*tching about how they want him to release it RIGHT NOW.

aaron will get his music out soon enough. its a huge transition for him going from songs about beating basketball players and having parties without his parents knowing to what he's doing now. hes really talented at what he does and his new music will blow everyone away im sure - just give him time. besides the fact that hes a perfectionist, hes had a whole mess to deal with as far as lou and kbrown. itll be worth the wait, and id expect something around january from him.

I'm anxious to see the direction he's going in. He's more vocally talented than I gave him credit for ~ but I am very confident and saying I could still blow him out of the water (shameless plug I Know) ~ but with that being said, he's still nothing special. He's definitely going to have to work twice as hard to get out there. But he is an amazing performer and has the whole "superstar" thing down. I'll give him that much.

Nope.

But I get the feeling that no label and no manager is still better than working with Lou Pearlman.

Don't have to be in the business to know that's probably an oxymoron. Or a myth...

I hope he finds a team that'll help him, though. He really has had a lot of people screw him over in the past, and it really sucks.

he needs a good team that will help him but then not turn and stab him in thr back . the poor guy has had so many things happen to him in music world that it's just crazy , but he keeps trying and thats good for him , he's working really hard I hear and his cd should be good , no great , yeah it will be great.

The music industry is just another phrase for getting "stabbed in the back". The artist in almost all cases will make less money then all the people who work for them. It's just how it is. But with that being said, he just needs to be on a team that gives him as much promotion as possible which is the main problem for a lot of artists these days. A few select artists are jammed down your throat all year long and that's why they have success without exactly having the most talent. The top 5 people you've probably heard from all year long are:

1. Justin Timberlake
2. Rihanna
3. Fergie
4. Beyonce
5. Akon/Gwen Stefani/T-Pain

Did you ever turn on the radio 1 day this entire year without hearing one of the above twenty times a day?

i totally agree! he definetly needs to be promoted as much as possible and needs a team that will be there for him and support him and not screw him over.

and yea your totally right. those are the top 5 people ive heard all year. over and over and over. it gets so tiring, turning on the radio, and hearing the same songs over and over again.

I so agree , I hear one of those artists songs everytime I turn on the radio , it's gets boring after awhile really . Just hearing the same people over and over and I'm there just wishing for a new artist to come on and there song not be played fifty million times , in a row . A radio station near where I live did that for Britney Spears '' Gimme More '' , the dj played it until after midnight at least , I mean at that time I know it was a new release but come on , they started playing it at like nine o'clock that night and didn't stop until after midnight . I don't blame the radio station at all cause people kept calling in and saying '' play that new song by Britney again '' and over and over the same people would call , the same crazy fans just wanting more . that needs to stop .

p.s. sorry for posting about Brit in an Aaron fourm .

Completely agreed!
He needs to do LOTS of promotion, after all he hasn't had a CD, since when 2003?! Thing is he is going to have to figure out the ways he is going to do the promotions and how.
