If any kind soul would call Mrs.G today Sat 11 11 07 when tickets drop I'd really appreciate it. I've gotta work today and I'm the one who has been getting tickets for her for 33 years. So she's a newb at using the internet for tickets and really needs all the assistance from your family here at LD.
Thanks again oops her cell number 703-434-9700

We finally were able to get into the show just as Bruce and the E St Band started playing Radio Nowhere...Having spent all Saturday evening and all day Sunday till 3:30pm pounding the keyboard and no drops for DC on the internet we headed down via Subway to the Verizon Center. Saw a few LD peps and began to scope out the situation for the drop line....there were way to many people in the dropline for us to have any hope of attending the show this night. Never the less I convinced Mrs G. to stick it out and have faiith. Low and behold by 8:19pm the line was finally dwindling down to about 23 people so we got in line and waited to see what would happen. The nice lady advised us that no more tickets were going to be released and that seemed very likely as there were several drops that afternoon / evening.... Yet the ticket window opened up and it was anounced that they had 12 tickets....being 22 and 23 in line wasn't a good spot yet one of the lucky few came walking back after he scored his side of stage tickets and hand me a beautiful pair of tickets in section 428. My jaw droped... I offered him money and he said just go and enjoy the show....no money necessary.
Mrs. G's eyes teared up and we ran in trying to contain the joy of knowing we were about to see one of the best shows from inside the arena instead of outside. Still can't believe that fine setlist and the sound was great from Section 428. I'll report back later once I get some much needed rest as this ole heart is pounding way to fast right now.
