winning number 060 - 400 let in

RadioGirl and the rest of the southern WWA missed the cut by just 3. Apparently Paiger the only one who made the cut

AMIW
Nov 11th, 2007, 04:11 PM
true but both my callers said the number 400 if the pit had been 500 than radiogirl, doc, mo, jess, etc would have been in but alas they are apparently back in the bar and calling me reminding me i'm not there

That's too bad. I have GA for Pittsburgh and the weather is supposed to be rainy so I'll wait indoors too if I get a bad number. Hope they are having fun anyway.

if by fun you mean drinking heavily then yes they sound like they are having fun

That's my plan if I pull a bad number on Wednesday.

The anticipation once 8pm arrives is intense...It feels weird that Bruce is playing my hometown and I'm not there.

TOL has become an epic song with several members shining during their featured parts, especially Nils, Max and Patti.

I heard it was dedicated to someone, my friend couldn't tell who it was, but the comment Bruce made was that they could have a lifetime pass to any show they wanted.

The individual named by Bruce was a guy named Andrew who I believe was from the Walter Reed Medical Center in DC.

Honestly last night was the best TOL version I've ever heard. Definitely the hardest rocking, with local boy Nils shredding that thang all over the place. My first show of the tour, and TOL was one of many highlights.

Wow, what a night!!
Got into town about 3:30, checked into the hotel, and cabbed over to the arena. No drop and I'm figuring we're paying top dollar just to get in. Head down to GB and run into some of the LD crew. Hang out for awhile, grab soem dinner and I decided to walk back to the arena to see what the situation is. There IS a drop at the box office for mostly 400's and I am now torn as to waiting in line or waiting/hoping for 100's & GA's. Decided to wait for a better drop so we got in the line at about 6:00. Every 15 minutes or so, I would take a walk outside to check the prices. 115's & 118's were $350 each. I was hoping to wait until about 8:15 and grab 2 of those for much less. No need. On my 4th prospecting walk, I get a call from my girl saying a guy will sell us 400's for face. It's 7:15 and I figure at least we're in. So, we sat in 428, row P. In the corber behind Danny. One row between us & the roof. Didn't matter. Great show!! Growin' Up into Kitty's Back!!! Searing TOL!! Met up with bigjohn post-show at Fado. Great Irish bar about a block from the arena. Packed with Bruce fans. Every 5 min. or so, the entire bar would do the Badlands WOH-OOH's. Hung over & happy!!!!!

Hey My Hometown! Thanks for a great report! Got your call mid show and listened but all I could hear was hooting and screaming! Sounded like you were having a blast. We are heading to D.C. in ten minutes. We have G.A.s and plan to try for the pit!! Hope to get as good a show as you got last night! Thanks for the call! JIM

Andrew: I was the designated floor dialer and fell down on the job....sorry. We were having a ball in the back except for the random scary dudes that kept heading in my direction. I tell ya, I'm a magnet for them. (LDer's not included. ;) :D )

TOL was fantastic and Growin' Up a great surprise. I would say the DC crowd was the best I've seen, no "sitters", or at least very few. Looking around, it seemed as though everyone was on their feet all night long. My only regret is that I couldn't stay for tonight....

Great show Sunday. Took the whole bta pit crew.
Everyone rocked. Great night.
Loved the whole set. I was blown away by Nils on Tunnel. Wow. Growin up was way cool. And once again met many very cool people. I love that part of Bruce shows.

ANyway, Just put the bta back in the garage after taking it around DC today. Spy Museum was closed due to a power outage. (ESB must have sucked up all the electricity in the area)Took the bta pit crew to Arlington National Cemetery this afternoon in observance of Veteran's Day.

Well it looks like night two is starting up!

'kay. I already fell on my sword, but want to set the record straight. (occupational hazard :p :p :p )

I heard, "call Andrew for Incident" but not tour premiere etc. So I know for Boston, Incident both nights and all the tour premieres, right? :D
