Sandy, Costas and I just got back from the Verizon Center.

We met the whole gang at a pub nearby - thanks to our Tour Director Julie (Andrew, you're beaten ;) ). Sandy and Costas had no ticket and also Janie and Scoot arrived later ticketless. There was a small drop about 200 tix and an even smaller one very late. Everybody got in somehow: nosebleeds can be fun, too....

At one point Bruce introduced one song: this is for Andrew, we hold our breath but the next words were that he hadn't played it so farī. Then we knew it wasn't Incident.

It was so much fun meeting old friends and when Kitty started I thought I'm at a Holiday show.

Sandy says that Bruce had his pants in the dryer again.

Good night, we have to prepare for GA tomorrow.

Oh, and the whole LD GA group hid their disappointment to be shut out only by 3 - 10 numbers very good and headed to the bar for some shots. My admiration for that.

Piwi:

It was so good to see you again! Now the tour is really on. :D

The LD contingent was out in force last night. Sorry we didn't get to see more of Sandy and Kostas but they were on a ticket mission.

Missing the pit experience by so few was disappointing, but it did allow us to return to the bar. Based on last night, I'm thinking these last 5 shows (can it really be so few, already?) will be great. Have fun all of you going to DC2, Pittsburgh and, sigh, Albany. See you again in Boston!

At #489 ended up on the rail so now 3 for 11 (and one seat) thus far. Not buying (other) lottery tickets...

Great to see Piwi, Sandy, Costa, Doc and all the other LDers. Surprised at lack of GA drop. Thought when fire marshall gave a pit size of 400 there might be room to drop some... Maybe he'll have second thoughts today and give a bigger pit... nah, won't happen, but ticket availability is better today.

Time to head on down to the VC and get the ole number on the wristband. Sleep is good.

Hope to see rest of the crowd at next 5 shows...

Amazing show -- wish we could have stayed for tonight. Wondering if anyone knows -- why were there so many seats in the upper deck that were covered and not used. We were in Section 401, Row M and would have loved to have moved down to those seats overlooking the floor. We saw Genesis there recently and noticed the same thing. Just annoying that there were so many seats better than mine that went unused. But still, I'm so glad I was there, no matter where the seat.

As reported on another board, those seats are directly in front of upper level seating for wheelchair patrons. If people were to occupy those seats and stand up, they would block the view of the people in wheelchairs. According to the poster, an advocacy group sued the Verizon Center a few years ago over this issue and won, and the seats remain unsold for all shows.
