OT: What Color Was Your Graduation Gown?

I officially graduate from Wright State this weekend, nevermind the fact that I've had my diploma in my possession since mid-September.

Anyway, my gown for the ceremony is this god-awful green color with a white tassel and black and gray Alpha Delta Mu cords. It's ugly.

My high school gown was white and I could deal with that but I'm gonna look like a walking lawn this time around.

Mine was white, as was PJ's. PinkBoy's was royal blue (that's what the boys wear at our school).

What shade of green is yours? I like most greens, but I don't think I'm feeling the white tassel or the black and gray with it.

My high school gown was maroon. Luckily for me, that's my favorite color. ;) The cap was maroon with a maroon and white tassel.

I call it "Grass Green". The school colors are hunter green and gold but this is a lighter green shade. They just changed the requirements for this ceremony...all students used to wear black gowns but now the Master's graduates wear the black and the undergrads wear green.

Crazy. I wore black. I have only seen Black for an undergrad degree, its the PhD's that get the whacky colors. I was at one ceremony in which a man was wearing hot pink gown, think back to the days of Britneys Bubble gum pop and that paten leather pink tube top...it was that color, with the weird little cap they have. it was weird. My favorite professor was wearing a dark green (like a notre dame green, but he wasnt from there..lol).

but yes, I wore black. In high school it was Crimson.

blue.. it's always blue for me, oddly enough.
I remember from 8th grade the girls wore light blue, then HS was a royal blue (everyone), and then college it was it was a dark blue.
