being home completely alone completely just reaffirms my desire to live by myself. I can walk to the kitchen in my undies for some oreo's and don't need to worry about anyone beong pissed about it.

I cant wait for my lease to be up/cant wait for everyonet o move out. i think both of my roommates my leave before my lease is up, which freaks me out cause i dunno what will happen with my rent, but thats off topic.

yes, i want to live alone.

Happy Thanksgiving! :)

p.s. Hollis is WEIRD and actutally SHOPPING on black friday. you couldn't pay me to be at the mall tomorrow. lol :sunny:

HAPPY THANKSGIVING :D

and YES... I have worked every black friday in retail, and I have always wanted to be with the crowd shopping. So, this year I actually get to do it... sooo excited.

I'll have to tell you all how it goes :)

See, I hate the idea of living by myself. I think I just got so used to having 3 roommates last year that I need the noise to be comfortable.

Happy Thanksgiving:D

And I want to shop tomorrow but my cousin is getting married. Bad timing;)

Really?? I hate the idea of always having to check with other people or wondering when i can do laundry or worrying if they will be ticked if i dont wash this dish right now

you people are nutty. after spending 5 years in retail there is no way you could get me out with those crowds. its way too crazy, people are mean. there is no place to park, everyone is frazzeled, that is so not fun or pleasurable. AND most of these sales arent even going to be the best of the season. my sanity is way more important than a good deal, lol...oh and so is my sleep. lol

I think its odd when people get married on weekdays, i had a cousin get married last friday. from her pictures, it looked beautiful. it makes me want to see connecticut in the fall. but i wasnt invited so i didnt go...lol

Dear lord I love living alone. I loved my roommates, but having your own place is so so much better.

Just stupid little stuff. I can have the heat/AC exactly where I want it. I usually shower with my bathroom door wide open so the mirror isn't fogged when I'm done. I don't have to worry about anyone eating my food in the fridge.

I love it, I don't think I could ever go back to having a roommate.

I like living by myself also for reasons Katlin just said and more... it's just better. The only person I would want to live with is Kat (good save, I know ;) ).

Yeah, the sales weren't that great. I did get a few things on my Christmas list already though. It was so... liberating to not be working but to be shopping :) :o I was the one asking whether this is the right price or is it 20 percent off of this, or where that certain item was in the flyer.

Way too excited over this, but it went pretty well. And it really wasn't all that crowded. I am, however, really tired and about to take a nap in a few minutes. I'm really happy with what I got so far though.

Yeah, im not too surprised that it wasnt too crowded a receession is definitely upon us. which will make retail a biotch...lol

I am going to do my shopping online on Monday, which is the Internet Black Friday, id rather deal with a slow computer than a slow line...lol

It was odd for them to get married on a Friday but it was just a short little five minute justice of the peace thing because they leave soon. They just wanted to have the ceremony and make it official before my cousin deploys.

It was still nice, though:). It's hard to believe that the cousin closest to my age is married:o

Its hard to believe that my friend, who is 6 months younger than me and the biggest wild child ever got married last weekend. and I said so during my toast ;)

my roommate came and dropped her dog off. it made me realize how much i really dont care for her dog that much. She keeps saying she doesnt know how much longer she will live here, hopefully she is gone soon so i can live by myself, and hopefully my rent wont go up...lol

I hate shopping any time, but between Thanksgiving and Christmas is pure hell for me.

And I have to say that Kohl's was nuts on Friday, but in a good way.....I didn't have any nasty customers, but did have a lot of positive feedback. I was there from opening at 4:00AM until 12:30. By the time I left we had net sales (after $1600 in returns....who does that on Black Friday, anyway? ) of $355,000, on our way to a new store record of over a half million.

But I'm glad I only work 2 days a month now.

Hahaha I thought about the return thing on Black Friday, and why someone would do that. Probably to get money or credit for thier Christmas shopping!

Why is Monday the internet Black Friday?

I need a GPS for my wheelchair. I'm very directionally challenged

pinky
Nov 25th, 2007, 07:23 PM
I used to think PJ needed one, but she's gotten much better with directions.

I once threatened to put a lowjack on her car so we could track her down if she got lost. :hah:

SparkleHugs

Yes, i hear you are quite directionally challenged.

It seems anytime I need to leave the area i get lost somehow in attempting such. There is one for 150 i think i might get. im gonna see how it is online tomorrow.

yeah that is an understatement!!!!!!!!!!!!

Black Friday at work wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be, minus the mile walk into the mall b.c I had to park across the street and down the road from the entrance I needed to be at

SparkleHugs

Katlin

If I had a dollar for everytime he was going to visit Kat and my response from her when asking if he was there yet was "Not yet. He's lost"....I could pay for their wedding. ;)

HipHopChristian

I like how everyone responded to my quote, lol.

I've gotten a lot better though, believe me. The first time I drove on the expressway was actually to go visit Kat in Dayton. Since I'm from outside Chicago, my idea of traffic and the expressway is pretty harsh. So, I would always be afraid to go on it, and if we had to go somewhere that involved the expressway I'd make someone else drive. I never knew they were more clam in other parts of the US.

Brings back memories of getting lost in my old, crappy car

Kit kat why didnt you schedule yourself so early that you were there before anyone else was?

retail is a bitch.

because it wasn't a requirement for me to work at the ass crack of dawn, and so I didn't

I had to work a midshift so that's why I had the crappy parking space.

and yes Hollis it's gotten better, I'll give you that...but the best day will be when you make it all the home and back and don't make one wrong turn ;)
