This has yet to be substantiated, but a juicy rumor floating around is that “Britney” plans to die in her new Piece Of Me video.
Will she be able to to that and shake her ass in just two hours???

Maybe she wants to make it Princess Diana's style, being chased by the papz and whatnot...

They should use the leftover funeral footage from the GM video shoot they never used.

I think she will get criticized for something like that, but its a good point. The papz need to back off.

She was suppose to kill herself in Everytime and somebody threw a hissy fit so she chickened out and whatever went down in that video made absolutely no sense. I think it would be cool to see her die Princess Diana style or kill herself or overdose in a way that asks the public is this what you want? But like i stated before whether this video is good or not depends on how committed Britney is to it.

It's already been said, but she did this already in Everytime. The focus on that video was already on the paparazzi and her insane celebrity lifestyle and her "death". Sounds a little disappointing.

Bull****.
Her fans started that rumor a few weeks ago just because Princess Diana died being chased by paparazzi, they said it would be nice for Britney to do that and other people assumed it was the official concept.
Same happened with Gimme more and the infamous funeral.

It made no sense but you could almost see her boob on the bathtub scene!!!

Everytime does make sense. She fell unconscious in the tub and sunk beneath the water and died, and while she was "dead" a separate scene is shown in a hospital in which a woman is giving birth to a child, and Britney's "ghost" in there in the hospital room as it happens (hence reincarnation). We then see another scene in which Britney's physical dead body is on a stretcher being pushed into an ambulance. The scene chages again and they show the mother holding her baby, and again, Britney's ghost is there watching. Then suddenly the scene changes and Britney emerges from the water and smiles. She didn't die in the water. Luckily she regained consciousness and came back up. It's was all just a dream, and the video was about reincarnation. She fell unconscious in the tub because earlier in the video when she was making her way through the paparazzi with her boyfriend, whom she does NOT get along with (he's a bitch, throwing vases around and ****), she was knocked hard in the head by a paparazzo's giant cameras, and she had a concussion and fell unconscious later on in the tub. However, there is a mistake in the video. The concussion is the cause for her falling unconscious, but she was hit in the front on her head by the paparazzo's camera, but in the tub she was shown having a bruise on the back of her head. Just a little error.

Everytime video made NO SENSENotice you said the VIDEO made no sense. You didn't even bring up the song. Nothing at all was said about comparing the song to the video.
if the everytime video was for POM, THEN it would make senseNo it wouldn't. Dieing and reincarnation has nothing to do with Piece Of Me.

That still doesn't make any sense.
How is the video about reincarnation when nobody dies? Britney seems like she is dead, but she actually "didn't die in the water," like your said. So, that baby is just a random prop?
What dumbass would go unconscious in the water, and later (miracle she's still alive after drowning for such a long time) come out and smile? As if she was to say, "LOLZ I WAS JUST UNCONSCIOUS, Y'ALL! HAHA! LOLZ TO THE MAX!!11cos90!"

Ummm, its a music video. Its Hollywood. I have news for you, and it may come as a shock, but the majority of the movies you've seen are fake, they use computers and stuff. Videos are no exception, and there are many videos that dont make sense or just plain suck.

Have you never fallen asleep, but when you woke up it felt like you has just closed your eyes for a second when actually you were asleep for couple hours? Or even the opposite? It's the same thing here. She fell unconscious and slipped under the water, but as soon as she was out of breath (which was soon after) she regained consciousness and emerged from the water. This is recognized especially by her open-mouthed gasp for air as she rises out of the water. And yes, it's possible to awake from unconsciousness due to lack of air. The dream she had just makes it seem to us like she was unconscious for a long time when in actuality she was not. And yes, it is quite possible to have a dream that is or seems a longer length of time than the length of time in which your were unconscious. The mind can do that; REM stuff. The video is about reincarnation, and I've already explained why.
It makes plenty of sense. Put less effort into bashing both Britney and the video, and more effort into understanding it.

Why is it hard for y'all to just state the facts, which is she was meant to have died in "Everytime" but it was then re-editted because the label didnt want viewers to get the wrong idea of the video? Instead of thinking of it as reincarnation, it wouldve portrayed Britney as suicidal.
That's why it makes absolutely no sense when Britney spoke of the video because she was basing her understanding from the original take of the video and not the re-editted version.
The whole smile at the end was clearly part of a take where she comes out of the water and gets all candid on camera. They throw that part in because it wouldve cost too much to have tried to redo the whole scene with a completely different ending.

The video was not reeditted. Those rumors leaked before the video was shot. So if they were true then those planes for the video were scrapped entirely and the video was given a new story to be shot.

What? I'm a Christina fan, hello? I know fakeness when I see it. I'm not claiming that Everytime was fake and therefore should be condemned. I'm just disputing PieceofBrit's claim that Everytime makes sense.
Firstly, you're confused, and that is the problem.Oh really now?
Have you never fallen asleep, but when you woke up it felt like you has just closed your eyes for a second when actually you were asleep for couple hours? Or even the opposite? It's the same thing here.
I have..but NOT IN A TUB FILLED WITH WATER. If you fall asleep in the tub with your head underwater, you are likely to drown! Or wake up noticing that you are drowning. Don't tell me Brit Brit's all immortal now.
She fell unconscious and slipped under the water, but as soon as she was out of breath (which was soon after) she regained consciousness and emerged from the water. And smiled? That makes no sense. No person with the right man would just randomly go unconscious and then wake up with a smile on her face. If you think that's sane, reasonable, and makes sense, then please.. I'd like to know what you consider insane, unreasonable, and nonsense.
This is recognized especially by her open-mouthed gasp for air as she rises out of the water. And yes, it's possible to awake from unconsciousness due to lack of air.See above paragraph.
The dream she had just makes it seem to us like she was unconscious for a long time when in actuality she was not. And yes, it is quite possible to have a dream that is or seems a longer length of time than the length of time in which your were unconscious. The mind can do that; REM stuff. The video is about reincarnation, and I've already explained why.You have explained why, but not clearly nor effectively. You've demonstrated that it represents reincarnation because Britney dies and a new baby is born. But... the thing is, Britney doesn't die. So the new baby is just randomly put in there. Just for the heck of it! Now if, Britney didn't come out of the water, the video would've made more sense.
It makes plenty of sense. Put less effort into bashing both Britney and the video, and more effort into understanding it. What? I'm not bashing! If this was a Christina video, I'd be damn pissed too. Heck, TVW doesn't make any sense!

The only thing I am doing is explaining the video. You don't have to argue every point. What happens if you cover the mouth and nose of someone who is sleeping? They're going to run out of air, and when they do they're going to wake up gasping for air. Same thing happened with Britney. She ran out of air and woke up gasping for air. If you fall asleep in a tub you are going to wake up as soon as you start to drown. If you get your head above the water (which isn't as difficult in a tub of water instead of, say, at the bottom of a 6ft pool) then you don't drown. I have demonstrated how the video is about reincarnation both clearly and effectively, seeing as you grasped that concept and are now trying to dispute it. You're saying Britney never actually died, which is true, but there was never actually a reincarnation either. Britney did not die, but in her dream she died and in her dream is the reincarnation. That part of the video only symbolizes reincarnation, because in her dream Britney has died while the child is being born with Britney's ghost standing over the mother giving birth. Everything that takes place between Britney falling unconscious and her waking up is the dream.
If the fact that she didn't inhale some water initially after regaining consciousness and that she didn't cough up a storm after she rose above the water is an issue for you, then do protest it. If her smiling at the end is that big of a problem for you then go ahead and protest it, but I wasn't talking about these little details, nor do they matter. Even in the My Prerogative video, Britney should not have been able to open the car doors and escape from the car while it was underwater due to the water pressure, but it happened. There were many small details in the Toxic video that aren't dead on accurate, but no one complains about such small details, because they don't matter. I was talking about the concept of the video, and the concept does - make - sense. If you didn't understand something then you should just understand it now. You don't have to argue everything.
