The only thing I've bought so far is for my brother whose list consisted only of "Michigan anything". The boy has more school spirit than anyone I've ever met. At least it made my shopping easy.
Everyone else...I have n o clue what to buy for them:o

There were kids at work today that reminded me never to reproduce. If I had talked to my mom they were talking (yelling) at her, I would have been knocked unconscious.
I haven't gotten anybody anything. I hate giving presents. Mainly because I suck at it. I am especially stuck at what to get the boy since I have never had to do that before.

We are doing a gift exchange for my family this year, so i am buying for my parents, grandpa and my roommates.
oh and the rugrats. NO clue what to get them because i refuse to buy Bratz anything, or video games. really eliminates alot of crap they would want. But i dont condone child whore-dom nor the massive electronic obsession kids have these days. I am getting the 6 year old books, cause he is a good boy. No clue what to get the 13 year old, or the girls (6 and 8).

Oh Katlin i LOVE buying boys presents. that is if they arent huge pains in the ass. A good default boy gift is a nice watch and or cologne. I told spacey the same thing. lol
Or get him a book he might like, or his favorite book in its first edition.
or sex.
you know...whatever. he'll be happy.

For the 13-year-old, how about a small purse with some things like lip gloss or Bath and Body Works hand sanitizer and little lotions?

When it doubt for boys I always bought giftcards. Granted, neither of said boys were my boyfriend so I didn't feel like I had to get them a great gift. In fact, I think I got one of them the same giftcard two years in a row but he never noticed so I guess he liked it.

Awesome idea, you should do that, Sparks...
Katlin, you should get him a bunch of little things. Like a mix cd, something from PetsMart (like something small, just b/c you work there... I dunno), a picture frame with a picture of both of you at a really good thing you did together (or you guys and some friends), something XU (b/c you guys met there)... and then something that he would like. Like a CD or dvd or something... and put it in a nice bag with a card :)
I thought of that way too quick... I obviously have been putting together gifts for Kat way too many special occasions! lol! I'm really excited this year because I don't have to send her gift, I can give it to her in person. I can watch her open it. :)

I would do that, but the 13 year old is a boy :o thanks though!! I think i might go with some clothes. this boy is a big pain in my ass.
Hollis, you and your mixed cds. and i dont know why you're so excited to watch her open your gift when we all know what it is, including her. lol
I still say a watch and/or cologne is the best boy gift because often times boys dont want crap, girls want crap (i don't mean crap in a bad way, just stuff that isnt necessarily useful). boys dont want things you have to dust or display. they want useful things, both of those things are useful, there is nothing better than a nice smelling boy. Hollis is a bad example because he is a one of a kind boy that has a million female likes and interests. lol
I dont know your budget, but season tickets to his favorite sport for his favorite team would probably be the best thing for you both. lol

Hey, it would have worked for Lance.
The little ones (you know, the ones that are actually girls) would probably like anything with the Princesses.
 but they like that kind of stuff.
I hated trying to come up with ideas for PinkBoy when he was 13. Does he have a favorite sports team?

All of Hollis's ideas made me laugh. Just cause I could shoot down every single thing with a good reason why it won't work, lol.

Okay, something XU? He WENT to that school! How could that not be something good?
I don't have a million female intrests... I do like some guy stuff. If I like girl stuff, Katlin and Kat like guy stuff. When you really think about it though, I don't like that many girl things....
And I am excited to watch her open it, there's a lot of little things I look forward to, because as a couple, we haven't been able to do much together until now. Plus, she REALLY doesn't know all of what she's getting... :)

Hollis, do you like girl things and Kat and Katlin like boy things, especially Katlin. lol It's all good.
Katlin you are the only one who doesnt know what Kat is getting, because they are buying eachother the same thing, at least one thing is the same. It also makes me happy you didnt shoot down my ideas, though I would put money down saying you wont do either of them. lol
The 13 year old is in all honesty the complete utter computer nerd video gamer who has no interest in anything that doesnt plug in. this is ridiculous to me and i refuse to feed into it. Hence my trouble, not to mention those interests are freakin expensive. If i had all the money in the world i would buy him an intrustment and make him join band. He'd fit in there.
for the little girls, im thinking of maybe a jewelry making kit or something. I wont buy them bratz, which is what they like. I just havent seen anything I dont deem a total waste of my money. but Aidan, he is getting books, and he will love them. lol I want to get the girls books, but i dont think their mommy reads to them.
