Say, I noticed the gnomes made off with all the golden moments threads! They were getting kinda ancient and haven't been updated in like forever and a day, and they were taking up a large amount of server space and getting little or no use too so... Yeah, and I know what you mean by all the spam served up lately too, and plus those accasional batches of multiple afe.specificclick cookies that bury themselves really deep (Ad-Aware wont find them and clearing your cookies wont get rid of them, but there are other ways to find and conquer them) compared to the normal run-of-the-mill cookies... reckon this place is fixin' to kick the bucket soon as it appears they are cleaning house here lately from the bottom up?

Did a little research on those afe.specificclick cookies and here's a copy of the source code for one of them:

Interesting what they are trying to do with frames and invisible images to link back to the specificclick site. Hmmm...(!!!)

So now we've got both afe specificclick and adopt which is also part of specificclick infecting this site and with adopt trying to use Flash to open up windows on our computers. After having my browser to automatically be shutdown and then retrieving all those adopt[1].htm, adopt[2].htm, adopt[3].htm, etc documents stored all over the HD I then backspaced out the .htm file extention on one of them and then typed a .txt file extention in its place to turn it into a notepad file so I could read the scripting without having it to open up on me. Nasty stuff they have here infecting LD now! :noway:

Richard, I believe you all do need to get your techies onto this so people can use this place safely.

Now I have to logout and go clean out another batch of this malware which has undoubtably been downloaded to my computer... again.
