I love Steven Colbert's tongue in cheek on the song, "I'm sure there are verses to that song, but I'm more of a chorus guy"

No, he dominated and knocked out hatton. But, I think like everybody Floyd--who carefully plans his entrances to the ring-misused the song as a patriotic american song. He was fighting in vegas, his adopted hometown, and he knew the crowd was going to be pro-Hatton ( a british fighter) so that is why he chose the song. Somebody should teach a class that the song is not a patriotic song (and some say, although I would certainly not, an Anti-American song).

It is a tremendously patriotic song, sadly misappropriated by many.
