Springsteen roadie stabbed in Denmark

A crew member working on Bruce Springsteen's concert in Copenhagen, Denmark, was stabbed on Saturday after a dispute over a cab fare, according to reports.

The unnamed American man had just finished working on the rocker's set at the Forum venue in the Danish capital, when he and a pal decided to share a taxi back to their hotel with two strangers.

But the group failed to agree on how they would split the cost of the fare, and, as the two Americans got out of the cab in front of their hotel, one of their fellow passengers ran up behind them and stabbed the roadie in the thigh.

Police arrested both strangers and Springsteen's employee was taken to hospital to receive treatment for the injury.

The wound is not thought to be serious.

A spokesperson for Springsteen's camp could not be reached for comment.

In the Scandivian Countries the taxi cab drivers are F'ing nuts. They also jack up the price especially if you speak fluent english with an American accent. I curse out some taxi cab driver in Stockholm because he lied about the rate when we ask cab drivers for their rates, especially when they were working for the same taxi company. The guy lied and called him a bull**** liar after he said "Oh you're American." Luckily found a way home with a price that was resonable about 4 blocks away at some casino cab pick up. The problem was in this case, the crew member should have never rid with the 2 strangers in the cab. Its not safe being an American with all of this hostility towards us in foreign countries.
