I saw KT Tunstall last night (great seats, 7th row center) and she was just awesome. If you're not familiar with her, check her out. She has it all: great songwriter, plays a mean guitar (as opposed to strumming an acoustic and letting her band do the heavily lifting), great voice, cute as all get-out. Her current record, Drastic Fantastic, is #1 on my playlist.

BTW, on the future of rock and roll thing... just kidding... she's great, but I don't think she's a multi-platinum type of artist.

I saw here on TV and she got my eye, I really liked the songs played on the radio from her last CD.
She made my Christmas list

Her first CD was on my top three of 2006 I believe. Haven't seen her in concert yet though.
Here is a trivia question - who's picture inspired her song "Suddenly I See"?

I agree - great artist. I interviewed her toward the end of her last tour. Nice lady and quite well-spoken as well.
Interesting aside that when I asked her whether she's kept the same members for a while, she said yes because "I was always looking for an E Street Band to stay with me."
Audio here (http://media.livedaily.com/podcast/roughmix_kt_tunstall.mp3) if you want to give it a listen (we were near a very loud stage and practically shouting to hear each other).

I really enjoyed her first CD. From what I've heard this one is even better. She had a few hit songs on the first album, I think because they were used a lot on TV and film. I've never seen her live, but she did a pretty great set on the Live Earth telecast this summer. Guess I'll have to pick this record up.
