OK I am basically just coming here to vent.

My old roommate calls me excessively. It drives me crazy. If I don't pick up, she just calls more. If I do pick up and we talk for like a freakin HOUR, she'll wait maybe a day or two and then start calling again. She never even has anything important to say. It's more like "hey i'm bored...entertain me". Which I hate phone talking in general, but I especially hate that kind.

Make her stop. Please. Love the girl, but I have NO desire to talk to her that much. :redmad:

What bothers you?

People who yell at me for not having my cell on. They don't understand that maybe I just don't want to talk to them:o

I had a friend that used to do that... she's MUCH better about it now though. She used to call all the time, if I don't answer call more or leave voicemails... or text. And sometimes I wouldn't answer the text message just because she would call more... and yes, we'd talk for an hour. About nothing... the entertain me thing, like you were saying.

She doesnt do the AIM thing, so I was lucky there. Like I said, it's gotten WAY better.. but man.

I hate people that are 1383847 days late on their student loans, cuss me out, call me a snotty little brat, and then request to speak to my manager.

Hollis did you do anything to get her to stop? Or did she do it on her own? I'm desperate here, lol.

Apparently the 23 missed calls from her since Thanksgiving aren't clue enough to get her to stop.

She kinda stopped on her own. Going away to school helped a little because we couldn't hang out as much so there was less of a reason to call. I wouldn't return EVERY text or answer every call, plus for a period when I didn't have my cell phone I'd call her on my house phone sometimes and one time she asked what the number was and I told her but I made it clear that I usually don't give out my house phone that much because I don't want people calling all hours of the day and night... "you know how some people call all the time..."

lol, she was like "no, I don't call people like that."

riiiiight.

Yes, I think they're oblivious.

Mine is the opposite problem though. She never called me when we lived together and there was reason to. Or if she did they were short and to the point calls.

She texted me tonight asking why I never return her calls, lol.

lol what did you say? :nc:

I told her that I was sorry and hadn't had a chance and that I would call her when I could or she could send me a facebook message which would probably be faster.

She messaged me and it was full of sarcasm like "this is in place of my horrible phone calls". But I don't care. If it did the trick I will be the happiest person ever.

lol is it Bridget?

I do not have friends like this. I am really bad at calling people in general.

i say you call her up and say damn stalker, did someone die? it sounds both rude and sarcastic, which is what you are. plus it might work. brutal honesty can be a bitch, but sometimes it just works.

lots of things annoy me. you people dont have time to hear the list.

No, it's Sarah. I haven't talked to Bridget hardly at all. I miss her. I don't have a chance to miss crazy phone stalker.

I have bitched to some people and the response every time is "So? She just misses you." Which irritates me even more, lol.

lol those people should be socked in the face. Wasnt sarah starting this before school ended??

Sarah should get a life, I dont have one either, but i dont go around bothering people with it.

btw, i should never be allowed to enter into a book store alone because i never buy books when i go with people because i dont have the time to look without worrying where oeople are, or if they can find me because they are over in chick lit and im in us history and current events. I spent way too much money.

They should be punched in the face, I agree.

It's annoying too because she doesn't have a "real" 9-5 job, so a lot of the calls come as she's driving between social work visits at all hour of the day.

Grr.

I spend way too much money on books too.

Me too. My friends from school called me like two weeks ago and I've yet to call them back. Ooops. But that's what Facebook messages are for:p

And us social workers also like to talk alot, so that could be the reason for your problem, Katlin. Blame her major, not her:p

That is SO true, Lanie. And Kat can atest to that... I do talk a lot.

BUT... we also know about obsessiveness and things of that nature. Calling a lot would be borderline lol

Is she the kind of friend that has to be talking to someone cause she cant take being alone in the car? my friend used to do that all the freakin time. people who are so dependant on others that they cannot freakin go to the drive thru alone annoy me.

KNow how else freakin annoys me? BANKS!

HOw the eff can you freakin charge someone 35 dollars PER insufficient funds fee. Last month I was charged 70 dollars for two charges that together didn't even equal 10 bucks. Freakin price gouging at its best and there is nothing I can do about it.
