Just got back now. What an absolutely cracking show!!! This is not my clip, but one I found on You Tube, the crowd were 'up for it' all night and the party continued till about 22:45. The vast majority of those in the arena were up and dancin all night from minute one.
Bruce and the band were in fine form - Clarence looks fab!! Highlight for me was because the night... into She's the One. The guitars were just amazing. That said the whole show was unbelievable - for me its probably the best I have EVER seen them anywhere. Bruce was in a great mood, really having a good laugh with people in the pit. There was a bride and groom there in their wedding finery, Bruce and the band made a fuss of them and Bruce dedicated a song to them ( I'll work for your love) I think it was that anyway!
I cant remember other highlights, as the whole show was just out of this world. Wonderful, wonderful night. Enjoy London those of you who are going. I am tempted, but I think i am going to be sensible and resist.... I am not sure it could top my Belfast experience....

Why do you have to add your ramblings about tickets yesterday on the Belfast thread?
What does that have to do with the Belfast show?

Hey Judge,
Because yesterday December 15, 2007 was the 29th Anniversary of one of the Boss' greatest shows. Many of us fans grew up listening to that concert and loving it. I was simply remarking, but I guess with your lack of intelligence you could not figure it out, that it was ironic that on the 29th Anniversary of one of his greatest presents to his fans, he screwed us. I then remarked how I hoped the concert yesterday honored the Winterland tradition. I thought maybe with two thousand + posts you would understand. But, JUDGIN

But Judging By Your Posts I Guess You Could Not!!!!!!!!
I knew full well what yesterday was. But you trying to tie Winterland and the ticket sales of yesterday together is a total stretch. And it seems you have some obsession about it as well.
And I see you aren't smart enough to try and put your thoughts together in one post.
It's called the Edit button, try it sometime.

Once again...a show is so much more than just a setlist, isn't it? Glad you had such a great time...your enthusiasm is what it's all about...
All I can say for the bride and groom is: "Now THAT'S a wedding reception!!!" :music:

Hi Patter, thanks for the clip, Because the Night really did stand out as being a highlight amongst highlights, just at the end of it you can here She's the One starting, which was fab. I cant beleive I didnt take my phone - we had great seats just next to the stage. I wanted to be focused and not miss any of the show messing around texting and taking photos... but it is a shame not to capture it.
Janey you are right - its not all about the set list. This is the first and only show I will do this tour, so the fact that it was the same (or similar - I dont have the time/energy to scrutinise these days and its much healthier!!!) as Cologne means nothing!!
The bride and groom thing was lovely. They looked as though they had a fabulous time, and i guess if your dream was to have Bruce sing at your wedding... this was a pretty good compromise!
Regarding Winterland, well yes it was a great show (from listening to the bootleg a good while back - I wasnt there...) but I had NO IDEA of the date of the show (I have no idea of any dates of shows except Barcelona 9th 1999!!!), so your comments went completely over my head Thunder - thanks for explaining that it was pretty unrelated to Belfast, Judge!!! That had me confused for a while!!

I don't think Jacksrake's reference to the show as "cracking", was meant as an invitation for Crackmythunder to post rambling thoughts.
Jacksrake - thanks for sharing your experience. I will nominate "cracking" as the best descriptive adjective of the year. I mean, how many times do you hear great, awesome, fantastic, unbelievable, etc.
Cracking?, I love it!

Yep, I'll second that Flory....hard to find new descriptive adjectives for Bruce and "cracking" really fills the bill!!

Glad you liked 'cracking' !! 'belting' is another good adjective. its probably more of a northern english ism, rather than queens english, but I could be wrong.. Either way, it was a belting show on Saturday!!
