walk to giants stadium

Is there a hotel within walking distance of Giants Stadium? I remember walking to a show before in NJ and there was some issue with walking up the ramp to an expressway. I can't remember what show that was but it worked out. Information would be greatly appreciated!!!

There is a Sheraton Meadowlands that is walkable. Not much else that doesn't involve walking across a highway.

There's a Fairfield Inn on Paterson Plank Road in East Rutherford (it's on the north side of the sports complex). I wouldn't exactly call it walkable (cruddy area to be walking along the roadside). But maybe they'll run shuttle buses over.

I think that is where I stayed last time. If I remember correctly we walked in through the racetrack entrance.
