Britney's gonna be an Aunt. Let me know your thoughts/smart assed remarks about it.
I was telling Em, I think that since the entire 4th season is already filmed they should air it (because why not make the money off of it) and then it should be cancelled. THEN i thought of the bright/awful/possible idea that she could then just go to MTV for a reality tv show about being a teenage mother. I mean if she can sell the story to OK! magazine for a million dollars, she can exploit her child futher by featureing her/him/it on a reality tv show.
I also liked that Britney seemed to have absolutely no knowledge of it until the Paparazzi asked her about it.

I think it's one thing to be a pregnant 16 year old. I think it's another thing and completely disgusting to sell the story like she did.

I like the fact that she said she wants to raise the baby in Louisiana so it can have a "normal" life.
Like, with that family, it has a prayer in hell of that.

and that article was complete crap at that so was it even worth the million dollars?? I think not
and speaking of people in the news...did anyone see that Danielle Fishel got arrested for drunk driving??!! What is the matter with these people??

Danielle probably pulled her hair back and got a good look at her face for the first time. That would be enough for her to go out and get drunk.

HA! Pinks that is really mean, and really funny. lol
I didn't read the story, but I just think its insane. not only that she really effed up her life enough to do this (I really think she should be fired) but that its a bigger story than....I dunno something really big and newsworthy. Another spears girl screwed up her life, BFD.
And I am with Katlin, I could really care less that the 16 year old got knocked up, I mean my high shcool had a day care center for the students who had babies...and there was a waiting list to get into it. Its no out of the norm kind of thing, i said to my friend that she would be comended for waiting where I grew up. lol

I heard that Nickelodeon is thinking of doing a teen pregnancy special in light of this. A good thing, I think.
I realize that people make mistakes but I guess I have a problem with the fact that the networks are standing by these young stars who are, let's face it, not setting the best example for viewers in their demographics. At least it looks like Nickelodeon is trying to do something beneficial and educate their viewers (unlike Disney when they had their little scandal with Vanessa Hudgens) earlier this year.
So kudos to Nickelodeon for making something positive out of a tough situation

Okay, so I didn't know ANYTHING about my Topanga until my best friend told me last night. We were about ready to hang up the phone and he was like "I'll leave you on this last note... your girlfriend, well I shouldn't say your girlfriend NOW, but Danielle Fishel got a DUI.." and I was like "omg are you serious? oh man..." and he was like "yeah, and it was funny because they were like 'I don't know if it's more embarassing that she got a DUI or that she dated Lance Bass." :noway:
My thoughts on Jamie Lynn... I think they are very focused on the baby right now which is awesome. OK! Magazine (I was so quick to buy it of course) kept asking her and her mom all these other questions, but they were like "we aren't even gonna go there... we are just focused on this baby right now." I hate that she keeps calling the baby "it." And why in one article, before all this happened, did she say she didn't have a serious boyfriend and she's trying to keep her options open, and then in the next article (a day later), suddenly she has a serious boyfriend she's been dating for two and a half years? Right.
I think it's cool Nick is considering doing a special on teen pregnancy and addressing the issue. It's not like she meant it to happen, and she's admitting she did wrong. I do think they should air the 4th season of 'Zoey 101' just because her fans would want her to, and also they already filmed it so why not make money off it like Sparks said.
I don't think it's completely wrong she talked to OK!, because she wanted to get out there herself and tell the public what was going on from HER point of view.
And Lanie, with Vanessa Hudgens... how was Disney supposed to address that? They can't do a special on exposing yourself.. lol.

If all she wanted was to tell her side, she could have done it for free.

I know Hollis:roll:. I personally don't think they should've hired her back for HSM 3 but I understand why they did ($$$). That's what I meant by addressing it. Although, to her credit, she did apologize so I give her kudos for that.

Yeah, because if they didn't hire her on for HSM 3 then like, I dunno... it'd be weird. How would they write that in. And obviously the fans don't want to see anyone else play Gabrella.
My mom just gave me one of my gifts early.. and it was HSM 2. I haven't seen it yet because I don't have cable in my apartment and everytime I go home it isn't on. So, needless to say... I popped that puppy in RIGHT away and watched it. It was good :) A little overdone at some parts (which is what I was afraid of anyway based on the soundtrack) but I'm all about that anyway so... haha.
Yes, Katlin, she could have done it for free... but I don't know if you can just be on OK! for free. Right?

I made my Mom drive me to Wal-Mart on the day HSM 2 was released. LOL! I'm kinda embarassed to admit that I love the movie:roll:. Ryan has quickly taken over as my new favorite character...glad you like the movie:)
Have you watched the Making of Huuuma Huuuma featurette yet? Oh my gosh, I was embarassed for the actors having to do that scene:roll:
But back to Jamie Lynn...I read that they asked her about pre-marital sex and that she said that "it's something people shouldn't do but I'm not going to judge because I put myself in that position" (I'm paraphrasing). Kudos to her for answering honestly

I haven't seen that yet but I'm sure I will ;)
and yeah my mom said she bought it on her lunch hour the day it came out also :)
and yeah, I think Jamie Lynn is handling things just fine for the position that she put herself into.

ALso to commment on the high school musical girl...is she was at least of legal age I believe.
I think she is handling everything fine, but she shouldnt have exploited her unborn child for the sake of a freakin million dollars, but if business and money making is your first goal...then i guess it wasnt a bad decision.
i still say mtv should do a reality tv about her and her baby. lol
I also have absolutely no problem with her partaking in pre-marital sex, because i think its kind of essential to know your partner...etc...i think that the issue is more of her having irresponsible sex before she is even eligable to vote. If you're going to have sex, of any sort married or not...it needs to be done responsibly.
