We just bought a new 3 DVD set called "The McCartney Years," which is a compilation of a whole bunch of Paul's post-Beatle videos and live performances. It is definitely only for hard-core McCartney fans. One of the features is him doing voice over narratives about the songs, the making of the videos, etc.
With regards to " Silly Love Songs" he says (paraphrasing,) "Years later I met Bruce Springsteen at one of the Hall of Fame events, and he said, 'I originally didn't get the whole 'Silly Love Songs' thing. But now that I'm married and have kids, I get it!' "
