I got hired on at my job, I'm still looking for a social work job, I got a reference letter back for my grad school application (so only three more to go lol) and I'm working on my essay, only 7 months until Kat and I get married instead of 8 (lol.. so that's one new thing), and Kat and I's two year anniversery is coming up.

I feel like I never post anymore. I've been so busy (although I'm home sick right now. :() And really not much to say, I've been married 9 months now (crazy how time flies) and I work a lot. BORING. :p

For New Year's, I may have to work at a club my station does events at. We're having a big New Year's party there and I may have to help out. :(

Gawd. A club on New Years Eve sounds horrible! Haha I'm sorry, hopefully you won't have to! Now that I'm all married up, I don't like to go out much... especially on a night like that, cuz there might be drunk drivers out. :( I like to be at home. I swear... it's like I'm 60 years old instead of 25!

I know! I really hope I don't have to be there but I have a feeling I will have to be. The DJ that I'm usually on air with is mixing that night, the station's director is out of town and I'm pretty much her assistant so I sort of have to represent. My only hope is that our promotions director will go and then she can cover for me.

Usually I don't mind and working events is the fun part of my job (at least I'm not stuck in my cubicle!) but its New Year's so its going to be crazy.

I don't love going out late myself either. I never really have but moreso recently. I'm much happier at home than out and about. As you can see by me sitting here at home on a Friday night (and I know I'm sick but this is not unusual for me...haha).

I am SO with you on staying home. I am so boring. I seriously come home from work at 3PM and put on PJs and stay that way for the rest of the night.

I am going to a friends house, it should be pretty low key. I want to be in bed before the ball drops, not too sure that will happen. It will be the first year in many years I will not be in bed that night.

I think there is nothing I would like to do less than spend new years eve in a club. But then again, There is nothing i want to do less any day of the year than be in a club. I hate clubs. Men think they can touch your vagina and not get socked in the face.

Yeah, I'm not big on clubs but being at the club on certain nights is part of my job. I'm still hoping I can get out of being there on New Year's but we'll see....I don't even want to stay up til midnight that night....I feel so old but midnight seems late to me!

I have never been to a club, so it's kind of exciting for me. Plus, we just found out there's this big cover charge... so we may not be going to that. I want to do something though. This is Kat and I's first NYE together :).

a club is not worth paying for. I certainly wouldn't go if I had to pay to get in. I say wait until its free. It is probably the most overrated thing ever. it's kind of fun the first few times. but it gets old, quick.

I think if I was single, it would be fun to go to a bar or something. I don't do clubs. But bars are fun. That might be fun. I always had fun when I went out to a bar in my single days. Which wasn't all that much since I met Troy a month after my 21st b-day but you know. :D

Hollis hopefully it's not that much money, because I think you would have fun if you have never been! A cool experience.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking... maybe the first experence isn't best on NYE, but... *shrugs*. I saw some nice bars also where you can sit down, chill, and just have a good time. And they have little NYE things going on, but nothing too big or anything.

I'm big on going out, just not to bars and clubs and the whole every night has to be a party stuff. I just like to do normal stuff lol.

Thats really cool. For some reason i was imagining you said I do and then suddenly didnt go out anymore. lol I can totally see why just going out to get drunk at the bar isnt too much fun anymore, its not that much fun for me either. it all depends on my company. and I certainly dont like to go out like that just to meet guys, because well frankly i am not a whore and its hard to meet a good one that way. lol


I think Ho shouldnt take my dont go to a club advice because i hate crowds, being touched by random men, having random men throw their crotch into my ass and call it "dancing" and loud music that consist of soley a base beat....so i think im not the best judge. lol

but i DO say dont spend too much for a cover charge, its never actutally worth it. lol

Yeah. I was visiting my sister a little bit ago, and we went to a bar that has dancing... I don't think it was really a club... I dunno, maybe it was. It was kinda dive-y. Whatever, anyways, we were walking through crowds, and some dude slapped my butt. And I'm like and THAT is why I don't like going out much! Ugh. Well, I DO like going out, but probably because it's not very often. But **** like that pisses me off. Don't ****ing touch me, that's what I say.

I did used to love getting drunk at this one bar, and then right behind it there was a Lyon's restaurant and we would go and eat there... and it was always late at night so there were interesting people there... ahh. Those were good times, though.

I remember when Kat used to go out to the clubs and tell me about random men that used to do that or she would dance with. I used to get sooo irriated (sp?). And I know she would get irriatated... but I would get mad because they were trying to talk to her. We weren't TECHNICALLY dating at the time, so I guess it's fair game but ugh.

I could never do a bar/club atmosphere. If I'm going to hang out with friends I prefer someone's apartment, some good music, and a few adult beverages (and I can even do without those unless they are fuzzy navels). I just don't find clubs/bars appealing. Maybe my opinion would change if I ever went to one...I dunno

I went to Vegas for a wedding. I stayed at the Luxor. Not too much to tell, the wedding was at the Las Vegas Raquet Club, so it wasnt the typical cheesey vegas wedding, it was really nice. I didn't gamble or go to a single club there. My room was nice though, the Luxor is overpriced.


and bars are fun, its more intimate and people dont touch you, for the most part. it ususally isnt as loud either. its just all around a better experience. people's apartments are really boring after a while because you can never meet anyone knew. and not being in school or having a job where i meet people...it can be really hard to meet someone.
