I truly wish I had experienced Rome with different company, and in a different hostle/hotel.
Thanks for the link, i will be glad to check it out later tonight.
I didn't have ANY good food there. I think it was my budget.
I want to go back too. Lets go, now.

I think it still looks pretty at night. :p But way cooler in the day... I am pretty sure you can see the Vatican off in the distance, too.
You should go Pinky! It's awesome!
Yes, let's all go! Amanda what did you eat while you were there? I mostly had food on the ship. But I did have a lot of gellato! OMG. I'm not even an ice cream fan, but that crap is to die for.

The link will not work for me. Java hates me.
I mostly ate at their dinky little italian restaurants we saw around town. some were ok, most of it was eh. I think I needed to go to the higher end restaurants. Though in the extreme heat of the afternoon and the exhaustion we succuombed to being lame american tourists and hit up the hard rock cafe and had a delicious lunch there. lol AND!!! saw the CHOOSE LIFE shirt that George Michael wore in the WHAM video wake me up before you go go. Which was pretty awesome.
I totally had Gellato DAILY. that chit was gooood.what flavors did you get?? I loved the cherry. i think thats what I got mostly.

OMG. We went in August, and it was SO HUMID! I will NEVER go back there again at that time! Ugh.
I got strawberry, chocolate, mint and melon. My favorite was mint and strawberry... I like the chocolate, but I didn't get it much cuz I didn't want that all over my face. It melted so fast cuz of the heat/humidity.
Did you see that McDonalds in the Pantheon square? I told Troy there was no way in hell we were eating McDonalds in Europe. If he had it his way, we probably would have!
Did you have any of the pizza though. Best pizza ever dude. I WANT TO GO BACK! I am SERIOUSLY obsessed... I keep looking at the webcam!

We did have pizza, it was not what i expected and i didnt expect what Dominoes delivers but it was a whole lot closer to that than i expected.
my friend ordered a pepperoni pizza and got a pizza full of bell peppers. She hates bell peppers. lol Plus all 4 of us are rather picky and everything had something somene didnt like. I don;t do mushrooms and hell, its SO HARD to find something to eat in ALL of europe without mushrooms. lol
Have you ever been to bucca di beppo, its my favorite Italian restaurant and I am told its as authentic as it gets. I was there with someone who said the pizza tasted EXACTLY like it did when he was in Italy. That is not my experience. lol
I got Cherry Gelato alot i believe. it is tasty. They opened a Gelato place in my mall and i am afraid to try it cause it wont be as good, or it will be as good and i will always go...lol
I totally went to McDonalds in Prague and got a soft serve cone (I wanted ice cream) and it was by far the CLEANEST McDonalds I have ever seen in my life. I think the Hard Rock was the most offensive American place we went to in Europe. though there was this Diner in London that was very American too. I want to go back and be a little more adventurous about it.

Did you have ham pizza? They just throw the ham on there... they look like deli slices of ham. I feel bad that you didn't get a good pizza... cuz it was the best pizza ever dude. You should go back... now.
Yeah, I have eaten at Buco Di Peppo (whatever, too lazy to scroll up and look at how you spelled it. sad.) and it's alright. I'll eat Italian food out... but not to be snobbish, but nothing tastes as good as my Mom's sauce and my uncle's sauce. They are both Italian, so it's awesome. You should come over and I will make it for you! I'm pretty good at that. :D
OMG! They opened one in a mall by me too! I'm scared to try it for those reasons too! Haha
Have you seen the webcam when it's been daylight in Rome yet? Dooo it... so fun.

I went to a McDonald's once in Mexico. I spent all day out in the sun and was so thirsty but couldn't wait on the hassle of trying to find drinkable water so I went to McDonald's and got a Sprite. Nastiest thing I have ever had in my life. I can still taste it. Ick.

I think ham is disgusting, adding to my eating troubles in all of Europe. lol pretty much the only pig i like is bacon (only with breakfast) and the seldom pork chop. My trip really made me realize how annoying I am. really.
I say just go try the restaurant. It's good. I really like it, i figure if nothing its worth a try.
Since I wont be in Sac anytime soon, i say you just email me the recipe and i promise not to publish it :p

That's not rude... it really is not that good. My uncle once said that Italian restaurants are for non Italians who think they are eating good Italian food. Totally true. Makes me feel bad for all of you. :p Great. Now I want some pasta. :(
I thought the Spanish Steps were cool! We didn't stay long, cuz we were pissy because we couldn't get any money out of the ATM. But it was a neat atmosphere... because people were just sitting on the steps, everywhere, just hanging out... I love that. When people just hang out like that.

lol I know, It's just what i say. kind of like aw sad! you dont like it. It wouldnt surprise me if your Uncle was correct, maybe if I had better, tastier food while I was in Rome.
I went to the Spanish Steps at like 630 am, maybe 7. and it was completely empty and just looked like a big empty stoop. On all the post cards it was full of flowers and really pretty, with people and stuff. It was kind of like "wow, thats it?" kind of thing.
i hate it when the ATM doesnt work. I love that I found most of the Bank of America affiliates in Europe and had didnt have to pay fees. except for the one time I didnt know where the bank was in Rome and had to go to a random one.

Oh... yeah, I could see where the Spanish Steps would be a bummer, then! That sucks. :( Did they have a big ass billboard at the top of them, though? Advertising something? They did when we were there, and it pissed me off because it was ruining my pictures! A-holes.
Duuuuude... HUGE crisis for like an hour w/ the ATM! We could not get any money out because it kept saying that Troy's pin number was wrong. But... it wasn't. When we got back to the hotel, he called the bank and apparently in Europe your pin number cannot be more than 4 digits. Well it would have been nice if the dude would have told Troy this when he was on the phone w/ them before we left! HELLO! So we got it taken care of. But it was scary for a bit, man.
