That makes me sad for all those who will not be recognized for their good job.

and that i cant see all the pretty dresses.

I wonder how much longer this strike can last. It will really eff up the CA economy if it doesnt end soon.

They are making a HUGE statement by not having an award show this year though.

It's kinda cool for them.

I'm sad I won't get to see the show this year. It figures that the year I have a movie and an actress I really want to see win I can't.

I support what the writers are trying to do but this is getting ridiculous...and picking and choosing who you give waivers to is unfair

I don't think there should be any waivers whatsoever. I can only think of one they have given, for Elizabeth Taylor's event of some sort...what else have they given a waiver for?

I think the producers need to suck it up and give the writers the effing FOUR CENTS they are asking for. I mean raise the price of dvd/downloads by 10 cents and pocket the extra 6 cents, people will still buy them. It's greedy and ridiculous.

When is/was that award show? I didn't realize they got a waiver.

As I said before, i dont think they should give anyone a waiver. It's all or nothing, and if you want to strike and cancel everything, then stick to your guns and do it.

I'm not sure when it is Sparks. It's coming up soon, though
