Although Madonna caused alot of controversy it was good controversy to further her career. Britney's controversey is not further her career but furthering the publics perception that she is a living mess.

somehow i see her scandals very similar to those of madonna but in her case with mental diseases...

Britney hasn't been diagnosed with anything. She has been witnessed doing drugs though and thats probably is what this is about.

The sad thing about Britney Spears is that musically she progressively keeps getting better but because she longer has that "it"-factor or energy to properly promote it, her efforts go largely ignored. Britney never gave In the Zone, and especially Blackout, a fighting chance.

I agree. I know people with Bipolar disorder and they are nowhere near as strung out as Britney. She clearly isn't on illegal drugs, but there are signs she's abusing some form of medication.
