Well, I guess the Pelosi Congress is so thrilled with their approval ratings that they gave themselves a pay raise. That's pretty much the only thing they've passed all year. Well Done! :music:

What happens to the worst congress in US history as per approval ratings? What has the stellar leadership of Nancy Pelosi accomplished? We'll a pay raise is the one thing that got done.
I guess the congress has made sure the recession doesn't effect them first by giving themselves more of your taxdollars. If only all of us could get a raise when our work approval rating is 19%. Isn't this when you are supposed to be fired, and not rewarded?
"AP - Fortunately for members of Congress, their pay isn't tied to their approval ratings. Lawmakers in 2008 will receive salaries of $169,300, a boost of $4,100 over the pay they have lived with since January 2006."
