I hate it when someone messes with my computer. I rarely ever get mad about anything, but I get mad when someone messes with something that Im used to!
My little sisters boyfriend was on my computer when I was at work today. He only wanted to use the net, but thought it was moving a little too slowly. So he decides to do a System Recovery!!!
I get home from work and there is a black screen on my computer screen saying that a certain Windows file is now missing or corrupt! After hours of fooling with the computer everything is back, but all messed up.
I guess I should be happy all my pictures seem to still be on my computer.
Its hard to tell what else Im going to find wrong or what else I have to try and fix. :bluesad:
*sigh*

She called her boyfriend. I dont know what she said to him, but he offered to buy a new computer. That only made me more upset. I dont want a new computer! I want my computer back to the way it was before I left for work this morning!
Im slowly getting stuff back to the way I like it. Maybe after some sleep I can figure out why the computer is not recognizing the speakers.
I need some fresh air and a glass of ice water. :nc:

What the hell? Chad, if you have to, take the computer to a compugeek and see if she/he can recover your hard drive. And let April's boyfriend pay for it. Then tell him if he lays a finger on your keyboard again, you'll cut it off.
Okay, maybe not cut it off... but you get my drift. :)

I know, I was like, why did he think he could mess with my computer, who does he think he is?!?! And then I was just in shock. But Im alright now.
It appears that it set the computer back to its original settings, yet kept all the files. Its odd. Now I just have to put the setting back to the way I like them, make sure all my files are still on here and find out why the speakers are not working. Actually, the speakers may be fine, it seems the computer does not want to recognize the speakers. So the only thing he may have to replace is the speakers, looks like he is going to get off easy. But I already told my sister to let him know he is never ever allowed back in this house. Ever.

Well, looks like he is getting off very easy!
This is so funny. :D April told me that he has had several years of education working with computers, blah, blah, blah, yet he never knows what he is doing and my computer is not the first computer he has messed up. I, on the other hand, have not had even one hour of computer classes and I just fixed the sound on my computer and now everything is back to normal! HA! :D He had somehow messed up 3 of the drivers and I simply reinstalled them and now I have sound!
Im feeling much better now. His ass is safe for now.
