Yeah, Fox News hosts regularly make snide, cheap and sometimes offensive remarks toward Democrats. And Regis' idols Rush and Drudge base their entire careers on doing just that.

And let's not forget Ann Coulter. She never says anything unprofessional.

i own Ann coulters book but i havent read it yet, eventually i will. She is a riot, i wish people could understand sarcasm. I guess since in real life I can be an extremely sarcastic person i can spot it. But most of what Ann does is an act.

Luis, it must be a matter of taste, I don't know. I can be sarcastic at times, but Coulter? There's a fine line between sarcasm and outright mean. I think she crosses it. Act or not, mean is mean.

Exactly, DES. Quotes like the ones below are not sarcasm, they are pure nastiness. I don't care if she some of the things she said are intentionally outrageous or sarcastic. Mean-spiritedness and bigotry are at the core of her message and I don't find that funny.
"If you don't hate Clinton and the people who labored to keep him in office, you don't love your country."
"The 'backbone of the Democratic Party' is a 'typical fat, implacable welfare recipient.'
"Whether they are defending the Soviet Union or bleating for Saddam Hussein, liberals are always against America. They are either traitors or idiots."
"We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity. We weren't punctilious about locating and punishing only Hitler and his top officers. We carpet-bombed German cities; we killed civilians. That's war. And this is war."
"[Anti-war Democrats] know that the American people support defending America, unlike them. Their real feelings are coming out as much as they can right now, which is that they're desperately dying to provide aid and support to al-Qaeda."
"Press passes can't be that hard to come by if the White House allows that old Arab Helen Thomas to sit within yards of the President."
