Limbaugh urges listeners to vote for Clinton
Posted: 06:15 AM ET

Limbaugh wants the Democratic race to continue.

(CNN) – As Hillary Clinton battles to keep her presidential bid alive, she may be getting help from an unlikely source: conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh.

Limbaugh has been actively urging his Texas listeners to cross over and vote for Clinton in that state's open primary Tuesday, arguing it helps the Republicans if the Democratic race remains unsettled for weeks to come.

"I want Hillary to stay in this…this is too good a soap opera," Limbaugh told fellow conservative talk-show host Laura Ingraham on Fox News Friday. He reiterated the comments on his Monday show and replayed the exchange with Ingram.

He also said Clinton is more willing than the Republican National Committee and John McCain's campaign to criticize Barack Obama.

They no doubt will do it, being the good little lemmings that they are.

Well, what if Obama is the candidate? You think Rush will tell people to vote for him?

I don't think so...

Limbaugh is so afraid of Obama. He's said before that if Obama is the Dem nominee, he'll probably be elected president.

I didn't know Limbaugh was afraid of anyone. Limbaugh isn't running.

And if she ends up the Democratic nominee? Would you vote for her or McCain, the man El Rushbo sees as the downfall of the Rupublican Party?

It was all great fun when Dems were cossing over and voting for McCain, remember? That was FUN!!! Now the Dems get a taste of their own medicine and they cry.

If you waterboarded me and made me choose...I'd vote McCain.

I don't hear anybody crying. If Republicans want to cross over and vote for a Democrat, I say, "Welcome to the Party!"

That was Dems trying to help Romney stay in the race, not McCain. The entertainment value of multiple-choice Mitt was too great to let his campaign die so soon.

And DES is right, Republicans for Obama, Republicans for Clinton - It's all good.

And the "Limbaugh effect" was pretty much non-existent. He's irrelevant to the vast majority of Americans.

From the Chicago Sun-Times:

The latest numbers show Clinton won by about 3 percentage points in Texas and 10 points in Ohio. Exit polls of voters in the two states found most Republicans who crossed over and voted in the Democratic primary voted for Obama.

We're not crying, we're laughing, because we have not just the best, but the TWO best, candidates in this year's field.

Actually, when I think about it, we probably had the FOUR best.
