Remember that friendship bread I made last week? Well, I made more yesterday. Its a big hit now with my family and friends, they love how I make it. Yesterday I made chocolate and pineapple.

And in completely unrelated news, I made popcorn shrimp awhile back and had a piece that was heart shaped.

Mmmmmm. Looks really yummy, Chad!
I need some distraction about now. We're fixin' to get hit with some of the nastiest storms I've seen in a while.

The friendship bread is more like cake. Its really good. I call it friendship cake.
Good luck with the storms. Its raining here, but getting colder, we are in for some more snow.

Those look really good! I've also done some baking these past few days. A Chocolate mint cake with coffee frosting which is to die for, among other things. I might post pictures later ;)

there's nothing like having breaded siamese shrimp.

My mom told me I should have kept that piece of shrimp and tried to sell it on ebay, I could have made a small fortune!

Tiger Rascal, I was just curious (because a topic was posted in another forum) is this Amish Friendship cake, or something completely different? The reason I ask is that I notice you baked it in alluminum pans, and I found out that Amish Friendship cake is not supposed to be baked in metal pans. I got the recipe from the very nice poster and look forward to making some this weekend. Just wondering if this is on in the same. Thanks :)

Yes, exactly the same. However, everyone I know told me its fine to bake them in those types of pans. Its just that, the starter should not be stored or mixed in metal bowls with metal spoons.
