Dogma
Metatron: Human beings have neither the aural nor the psychological capacity to withstand the awesome power of God's true voice. Were you to hear it, your mind would cave in and your heart would explode within your chest. We went through five Adams before we figured that one out.
Metatron: Tell a person that you're the Metatron and they stare at you blankly. Mention something out of a Charlton Heston movie and suddenly everybody is a theology scholar.

A poorly executed film version of the Anne Rice novel. Stuart Townsend is nice eye candy as the Vampire Lestat, and this was singer/actor Aaliyah's final film performance before her death in 2001.

Remember the Titans
One of the best football films ever made, Denzel Washington gives a stellar performance as a black coach hired to lead a newly-integrated football program in Virginia, replacing the previous (very successful) coach who stays on as an assistant. Great performances all around.

Tombstone
One of my top 5 favorite movies of all time. And some of the best quotes of any movie ever made. Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday was an inspired performance. Why he was overlooked at the Oscars, I'll never figure out. Anyway, I highly recommend renting this flick if you've never seen it.
Doc Holliday to Ike Clanton, after Ike has acused him of cheating at poker: Why Ike, whatever do you mean? Maybe poker's just not your game. I know! Let's have a spelling contest!
Johnny Ringo: My fight's not with you, Holliday.
Doc Holliday: I beg to differ, sir. We started a game we never got to finish. "Play For Blood" -- remember?
Johnny Ringo: Oh that. I was just foolin' about.
Doc Holliday: I wasn't.
Wyatt Earp: I did my duty, now I'd like to get on with my life. I'm going to Tombstone.
Mayor Dake: Ah, I see. To strike it rich. Well, all right, that's fine. Tell you one thing, though... I never saw a rich man who didn't wind up with a guilty conscience.
Wyatt Earp: Already got a guilty conscience. Might as well have the money, too. Good day, now.
Kate: (lighting a cigarette for Doc Holliday after the doctor, diagnosing his advanced TB, has told him to quit smoking, drinking and chasing women): Ain't I been good to you, Doc? Ain't I a good woman?
Doc Holliday: It's true, you are a good woman. Then again, you may be the antichrist.
Johnny Ringo: Isn't anyone here man enough to play for blood?
Doc Holliday: I'm your huckleberry.

Lucy: I'm having an affair. I like Jack.
Jerry: Who's Jack?
Lucy: Peter's brother.
Jerry: So?
Lucy: So he thinks I'm engaged.
Jerry: To who?
Lucy: To Peter.
Jerry: Lucy, I really don't have time for this.
Lucy: No, you have to tell me what to do.
Jerry: Tell the truth.
Lucy: If I tell Jack I lied to his family he will *never* speak to me again. And Ox and Midge and Mary and Saul.
Jerry: Saul? Who's Saul?
Lucy: The next door neighbor. But you know what? Actually, he knows.
Jerry: Lucy, you are born into a family. You do not join them like you do the marines.
Lucy: So what should I do?
Jerry: Pull the plug.
Lucy: You're sick.
Jerry: I'm sick? You're cheating on a vegetable.
