Yeah, let's see, after 300 debates I just don't quite have a grasp on what these two candidates stand for. I think we need another 500 debates before we can get a good idea on that.

Democrats To Debate In Pennsylvania

Posted by Brian Montopoli

The Barack Obama campaign just sent out a press release announcing that Obama has accepted invitations to debate in Pennsylvania and North Carolina.

Earlier, the Hillary Clinton campaign sent out a release announcing the former first lady had agreed to participate in the Pennsylvania debate, which is scheduled to take place in Philadelphia on April 16th.

The North Carolina debate, which would be hosted by CBS News and moderated by Katie Couric and Bob Schieffer, is scheduled for April 19th. The location has not been determined.

“Senator Obama welcomes the opportunity to openly debate Senator Clinton on the issues important to Americans in North Carolina and Pennsylvania and hopes that she will accept these invitations as well,” Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton said in the release.

The Clinton release stated that "Hillary is prepared to show she has real solutions for the problems facing residents of the Keystone State." No word yet from the Clinton camp on the North Carolina debate.

What I cannot figure out is why they do not have real debates and have a bunch of bull. You wont really hear anything new, these debates are useless, now maybe if they would do real debates and not spout rehearsed formulaic answers they might be worth watching. I ahve seen about 5 debates there is no reason in hell I would need to see another one unless it was actually going to get me substantive answers.

Perhaps not everyone was able to see all the other debates. Perhaps people saw one or more, but were supporting other candidates at the time, and want to hear the arguments again to study any differences between Clinton and Obama that they might have missed before. Perhaps people didn't bother to watch the earlier debates because they realized that a winnowing process would take place before they had to make a decision.

ANY attempt to educate the electorate is a good thing. If you've already voted, or made your decision, there's no need to watch.
