Diversity of topics, for one. I like I can go to one place and see a whole bunch of forums about different things.

For one thing Richard has an excellent group of techies who keep this place running much smoother than others I have had the opportunity to visit, and like as has been said before the diversity of topics all under one roof here make for quite a difference too.

Plus, the place is not dry and straight-laced (which can get boring quickly) nor the opposite extreme being like scum at the bottom of some dumpster somewhere in cyberspace (thanks to the mods and their many years of service).

And, we have people from all over the world dropping in here (which is quite different than many of the more localised sites closer to home).
