In fact, in a year when many other celebrity fragrances have failed to fire or taken a dive in the Australian market, Elizabeth Arden also did well with M by Mariah Carey, another pop diva who has been savaged by the global press throughout her career. "M by Mariah reached number 6 in Myer stores," says Tsoukalas (George, managing director of Elizabeth Arden), "and we are very happy with that result. There's also another Mariah fragrance in the works, code-named Pink, which will be released in August."
