i think Christina can easily make a comeback because everyone recognizes she has talent. she just has to pander to the mainstream a bit more. personally, i'd rather she take BTB even further and release an all jazz/blues album... blues and even some country and rock n roll 50s-70s style. female Elvis.

BTB did catch on with mainstream, it jus sucked and didnt hold ppls interest. I'd rather she never both making a "jazz/blues" album, she couldnt even get B2B right. That first disc had the same type of sampled old school beats that rappers use, with her singing extra loud on top of them.where was the influence?

ANOM, MMWP, OM and even parts of BITD are amazing. only ANOM caught on with mainstream. it was the second single that broke that connection the album had with the audience. Hurt was not BTB inspired at all. the vocals, instrumental... everything was wrong. it was Beautiful part 2 was all it was.

we all know it is the second single that determines whether an album connects with the audience. we see too many artists who come out with a big first single and then fall off the radar.

Exactly. Almost that entire first disc could've worked on radio if she released them at the right time. Even Candyphag was radio friendly, IF they'd dropped it at the right time.

i say it sucked ,if u like it thats fine. but no she didnt get it right, idk what she hears when she plays that mess, but i dont hear no 20s,30s,40,s50,s or 06s on there, a few sampled bits here and there and thats it. it was another pop record that flopped
