i read somewhere that Bye Bye will be available in the iTunes store on April 11th... isn't that way too early? radio will have barely picked it up by then... hard for it to reach #1 if that's true.

I think Cruise Control could be a hit in Europe and latin counties but would flop in the US.

It's on the 14th which is a day before the album release. It's a smart move IMO because she'll perform the song on the 14th on Oprah and the day of the album release on American Idol so with those performances within days of each other, the first day sales should be pretty high. It's going to be released to Itunes the day the album comes out, so what her team did is released it a day early to cash in on the promo the song will receive from the AI and Oprah performances.

Yeah she released WBT before the album, but ILT didn't go to number one like TMB did...

At the moment, I think radio still hasn't tired of TMB yet... so Bye Bye likely won't be a major force on the radio for another 3 weeks. Hopefully, it will have longevity on iTunes...

If not, I guess the album has at least 3, 4 more potential #1's... and there's always re-release.
