Who would have thought that her damn perfume commercial jingle would have ended up so damned awesome?

I love the sadness and the hope intertwined in the lyrics/tone/instrumentation.

I know right..cuz I HATED the damn commercial song lol

and the clip made absolutely NO impression on me

but then the actual song is my favorite..whoda thunk it

Definitely... such a surprise. And that synth. violin! Perfect way to add tension. Plus, use of that tiny rewind sound. It's not overdone at all. And the addition of her previous songs for the a song called "For the Record" is just a nice touch and doesn't seem slapped together.

Yes, took a while to grow on me, but when i listened to what she was saying and got into the production, it became an instant fave. :love:
