View Full Version : Britney Involved in a minor Fender Bender Accident. Goes out to Dinner With Mother.

Britney Spears hit a car while driving south on the 101 Freeway today around 7:15 pm PT.

Britney was driving her white Mercedes SL convertible, with her bodyguard in the passenger seat. She was driving at an average speed, according to our photographers, but didn't stop quickly enough when the car ahead of her broke for traffic.

In the other car was a male driver, no passengers. Immediately after the accident, he stopped his car in the center lane and the fire department and police responded, blocking all south-bound lanes of the freeway temporarily. Traffic on both sides of the 101 was at a stand-still.

Spears was taken to a nearby fire station for an alcohol test; she was not found to be intoxicated, according to sources.

Brit was released and is back at her Beverly Hills home now.

After being involved in a fender bender just a few hours ago, Britney dined with her mother at Dominick's!

When asked if she was okay, Britney told X17online, exclusively, that she was "okay" and she downplayed the accident, saying it was "nothing."

Spears was smiling and relaxed with her mom, escorted by two bodyguards.

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Britney Spears was involved in a minor traffic accident on a Los Angeles freeway Saturday, authorities said.

California Highway Patrol Officer Patrick Kimball says the two-car collision occurred about 8:20 p.m. Saturday on the northbound 405 at the 101 freeway. Kimball says it was a minor accident and nobody was hurt.

Kimball says it's unclear whether Spears was driving or which car she was in.

The CHP took a report and no one was cited.

This is another reason why she shouldn't drive that's if it was her driving this time. She is a rubbish driver.

What the **** ever. People get into fender benders all the time, and unlike Brandy, she didn't kill anyone or was driving recklessly.

She's actually not that bad of a driver. She's only ever been involved in two cases. Both of which were dropped. Sure she's ran over the paparazzi's feet but, those people are stupid to be so close to her damn car.

She's proclaimed herself a bad driver. She's one of those drivers who I would never get in a car with. Some people are just prone to driving accidents, and she seems to be one of them.

I'd say Lindsay Lohan is more prone to having accidents.

Like the time she hit another car while trying to park, she even opened her car door & hit it again - she didn't even bat an eyelid. :rolleyes:

Like the time she drove into her house.

I think that was mentioned in the 2003 ABC special. I also remember some mentions of "I'm such a bad driver" in an early Diary episode. No need to get defensive, some people are just bad drivers and it's good if they know it.
