The video really made me love this song even more. I use to love it as a good dance song but the video made me hear this song as something epic.
Then again, the entire album is amazing.

US radio doesn't seem to love Britney all that much. 17 million isn't really that much of AIs. :nc:
I assume that Gimme More's AIs were in another level, though, since it was the first single, and a new song from her for a long time.

There is some kind of biased here. I mean she has some of the best songs, and you have some songs that get over 10,000 spins? are you kidding me? :noway: :manson:

Well she isnt even promoting anything. If she actually got out there and gave radio interviews im sure they would be more than happy to play her songs. Radio has always loved Britney.

Radio has always loved Britney. no they haven't. Clear Channel blacklisted her from radio in 2001-2002. Slave 4 U was going up the Billboard Chart. It was number #27 (still gaining on mediabase) when it completely fell off the chart because of the ban.
Break the Ice is #26 now on Pop Radio.

I never realized how bad she did on the radio though. Wow. I guess it's better to not be a big radio artist and still sell well rather than have huge radio hits and sell decently. Most radio play is payed for these days anyway.

Why was she blacklisted? I remember Howard Stern's Clear Channnel rants and one time he mentioned this.

Why was she blacklisted? I remember Howard Stern's Clear Channnel rants and one time he mentioned this. She was blacklisted because they went with Pepsi sponsoring her tour (DWAD) instead of Clear Channel. They most likely went with Pepsi because of a contractual agreement at the time.

I dont really think theres been a Britney single that radio hasnt embraced till this era and some of her ballads.
All her songs have pretty much been radio hits.
