The Bush legacy is locked in.

President Bush has reached a new milestone: He now has the highest disapproval ratings ever (http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2008-04-21-bushrating_N.htm) of any president in the 70-year history of the Gallup poll.

The newest ratings: Approve 28%, Disapprove 69%. The previous high disapproval was held by Harry Truman during the depths of the Korean War in 1952, at 67%.

that just confirms what many of us have said.

I'm surprised that nearly 30% of the country actually support him.

I never thought I'd live to see another President as reviled as Nixon. :greyno:

Your memory must be failing. I think he was worse, completely evil. But at least he did a few good things.

This one is just stupid, surrounded by evildoers, and too stupid to know what to do about it.

I think they stopped counting Cheney's approval numbers so they wouldn't have to report on single digits.

There should be a law that states you don't get a library with an approval rating that low.

Eh, it's only pop-up books. No harm in that. :hah:

Can they do negative numbers in these polls?

I think once it gets so low, they just stop with the polling.

From the party that brought you hanging chads and registered dead voters? If it were a Democrat, yes.
