This sreally sux in the sense the Hartford show was at the wrong time. 8 Magic songs out of 23 total and now he is down to a more manageable 5 songs out of almost 25.

i mean, 20 songs vs. 13, big difference.

yo trey -- this isn't the thread for complaining, especially in the wake of the events of the past week. look at the glass half full -- you got to see a Springsteen show in 2008. that, by definition, doesn't suck.

yo Jag, my point is valid. This isn't related to Danny.

This is related to both the Hartford shows were awful set lists and quite a lesson on which stage of the tour to go to.

Your point isn't valid. It assumes there is some type of scoring system which makes songs from Magic less valuable to the setlist. I for one would rather see Gypsy Biker than No Surrender - but the choice isn't mine, it is Bruces so I will leave the art to the artist.

It is called slow ticket sales. Magic was not getting the job done. Giants Stadium had not even sold out. Bruce needed to change the set list to sell tickets

I always felt that, for the most part, those who follow the setlists are the ones who are buying tickets regardless of what songs are played.

Heard Bruce was at the car show instead of sound check. We were let in right after the number was drawn and the way they are playing they don't need no stinking sound check

Let's give it up for Sandy and Costas somewhere in this photo. They ended up near the front between Nils and Clarence. How hip are they to be celebrating their 35th(I think I heard Sandy right??) wedding anniversary in the pit at a Bruce concert?! Of course, Sandy has been with Bruce longer.

Wrong on two counts. The Moderator has responded to your request, and you are violating TOS (or at least agreed-upon common courtesy) by posting this drivel on the main board.

I don't think that it's a commentary on any particular album. But as for the stage of the show, that appears to be consistent with every tour -- if you check back on the Rising. The first show at CAA had 11 tracks from the Rising, while the next to last show at Shea had only 7.
Same for D&D, first show had 10, last show had 7.

Typical progression, he plays more songs from the new album at the beginning of the tour than the end.

So I guess the point is if you don't like the new album, don't go to the first leg
