Forgive me if this has been discussed to death but I wanted to get your thoughts on the possibility of ticket drops for the Giants Stadium shows. I was trying to get an idea of how likely it will be.

When the tickets went on sale in December, I couldn't afford them. I still can't, but I'm tempted to go anyway. The thing is, I've been to a good amount of shows but I've never tried for tickets beyond the original on-sale date.

I wouldn't need amazing seats but I'm not sure I'd pay for the hinterlands either.

Any insight would be much appreciated.

unless things are drastically different from the GS stand during the Rising tour, there will be loads of upper level tickets on eBay and in the parking lot for $15-$20, with better seats going for more. It's a big place and it's not even sold out yet, tickets will be available.

I got a drop for GS 2nd row on the Rising tour when they added some side view seats, and I also believe there will be plenty in the parking lot.

At the last GS stand I bought GA, front row and first row behind pit on drops. I have no tickets for these shows and plan on going for drops again.

Are there ever drops online through Ticketmaster or are they primarily at the box office the day of the event?

Also, are there rumored dates for Philly yet?

Last go around there were both.

There were various drops in the weeks leading up to the shows (mid-floors, side views). There was a great drop the week before the first shows (GAs, front floor sections) and there were tickets on sale at the box office as well - at least for some of the shows.

I was just looking at my TM history.

I bought a GA for the 8/28 show day of show online.
(My g/f bought two second row lowers at the window shortly before the show).

I bought a pair of front row floors to the 7/24 show on 7/23 and a single behind the pit on 7/24.

I bought pairs of GAs to the 7/18, 7/17 shows and a pair in the front row behind the pit to the 7/15 show on 7/11.

Thanks, Wayne, that's very helpful.

My best shot would be if they're available online. It's a trek to go from Long Island to Giants Stadium, pay for parking (at a lot somewhere near the stadium) with the hope of getting tickets. At least if I get shut out online, nothing ventured nothing gained.
