Where would I go? A sad admission, I know nothing about Frankenstein, I remember seeing the movie(s) and there being some discussion in middle school about it, but nothing's really ever stuck. I know it's Mary Someone's Frankenstein but I don't know if it's a novel like Bram Stoker's Dracula, or if it's a play.

So, please, if you will, lead me to the version that I can buy readily and cheap (not some expensive edition for scholars) on Amazon that features the original story.

Thanks.

Marry Shelley wrote it and it's a novel.

Here's the link you requested:

Or you could pop into the Literature section at a local used book store and pick it up for a couple dollars.

I buy used books online. It's cheaper than anything else I've ever tried before.

There are apparently 2 different editions of the novel. The 1818 and the 1831, with differences among each other to boot.

I think I'm gonna buy this one: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0393964582/ref=ord_cart_shr?%5Fencoding=UTF8&v=glance
