i have heard about it and i do believe it is true,again i am just going by HPANA, link is above on my first post and will be below,also there are some new pictures of the trio,filch,and malfoy and snape,but it seems that prof.trelawney(emma thompson) will not be in the movie this time around,i liked her,she was funny.lol i'm excited about her writing it to but from what i see of an interview from her it's about 800 pages and it was 3 years before harry was born,it was james and sirus time i believe i saw on there.here are the pics of trio,snape,malfoy and flich.

i love both,i can't pick one of the other it's like picking food over water and you need both to live so yeah,lol my fav books are the thrid ,six and seventh,and really the seventh is the best by far,the end is not what anyone expected at all,they wanted something else and jk just didn't do it that way,i knew she would'nt but the way she did it was brillant,really and it stunned alot of people and some really didn't like her for it but it was good.have you read the 7th yet ? the movies are just to die for now,the way they are making them,the latest movie to come out was order of the phoenix and that blew my mind away,they did leave a few good and improtant parts out yes but it really was a good movie.they get better and better as they keep on shooting,they are saying that the half-blood prince is going to be the funniest movie they've doe,i hope so cause the book is in a manner of speaking.btw i'm Bradle,nice to meet both of you,hope ya'll have a great day. :sunny:

That's been my new HP obsession now that I've read all the books at least twice I'm now checking the audio books out of the library one at a time. Jim Dale is awesome!

wow,you are a true fan,props for you and reps,lol i have a gryffindor outfit too although it's not authentic,it's a maroon and gold shirt and maroon pants that i wore to the last and my firsr book release for DH,it was great,i had never gone before cause i was young first of all and second i wasn't a fan right when the books came out i got into the book s right before OOTP came out,lol i know i'm a late bloomer,lol but hey here i am and i'm proud to be a hp fan . :D and i have gone to the movies on the time they have come out the next day i was one of the first in line to the afternoon show,that's all i could get at the time really but i've gone but as big as hp is here in the us you'd think they'd make a shirt for the movie that is coming out and it goes to certain stores but my store here nev er got them,i wanted to wear it to the OOTP movie opening but nope never got to.lol

UPDATE ok so jason isaccas is going to return for dh and says he is very happy about returning to the set. and second there has been a montage and a taped message from dan himself at the cinema expo as well as some artwork.but the message and montage can not be seen at this time cause no one as seem to releases it,they are being very secret with this movie i find,lol wonder why that is.but it is said to be known that the montage is of past/future harry parts parts from the movies so i think if someone can find the montage well will get to see some clips for hbp,if anyone can find it please let me know so i can update hpana,and credit for the news also goes to them.Bradle

I loved the show, I've been iffy on the movie, it'll probably be a renter for me, ticket prices have gone up here and so since gas has as well, I'm being a bit more reserved about what movie I actually go and see at the theatre this summer.

Batman will probably the next movie I go and see.

ok people very big update thanks to hpana,we've got new pics,and a videogame teaser trailer so here we go.
first off empire magazine has done a picture of harry on the front of their magazine and USA Today has done a report(teaser) link of pic is first and report is second.and there are also some pictures that USA Today has in their gallery and that is gonna be the third link.and second is pictures,we have quite a few,fisrt off is luna with some interesting glasses i must say and harry in dumbledores office with prof.m,and these two are from AOL Moviefone,thanks to them for that.and now to the videogame for harry potter and the half blood prince,it show some very good and interesting parts to the movie and (spoiler to the video) the dark mark kinda scared me a bit*shudders* now here are the links

No prob, I've had a hard time seeing all of the media coverage for the movie. I am torn, it looks like a good movie but I refuse to support it you know? I figure when it comes on DVD I will Netflix it.

ok buit of an update,this is me,Bradle,i'm just using my other sn,ok so tomorrow will be the release of the teaser trailer,i hope everybody is ready for that.i fould out today from hpana that there are now 2 pictures from the trailer,one of young tom riddle and one of dumbledore.they are below,young tom looks a bit scary i must say,and whats behind dumbledore is i believe like i'm sure everyone else will is fire,so i can guess that it is safe to assume that this picture is from dumbledore falling off the tower.i could be wrong,but it looks like he's falling so i don't think i am,well like i said it's small but come back tomorrow and look for the trailer,i prpmise i will post ,and again thanks to hpana for the update.

ok i know i'm a bit late but i've got the video for the half bolld prince,i'm sorry i've been held up with some stuff.and second we've got some more news,so get ready.first besides the video we warner brothers prepping for the half-blood prince website .at this time it's a placeholder that is a link to the trailer for hbp,but seeing the video is always good,lol.second is that the hbp film is evidence that the franchise is in good hands so says hpana which is as i sat all the time where i get all my info from.third is the publication of the tales of beedle the bard,which is now on amazon for collectors and standard edition,which can be found in the link below.fourth is Azkatraz,which is a confrence where all hp fans weet up,this year it is called azkatraz,last year it was called something different,they do this and it is usually i believe in a different state every year.this year it is in San Francisco,CA, which i am thinking about going to,but this is for 2009,because the one for 2008 has already been held.the theme is "The choice between what is right and what is easy".the one for 2008 was called Portus 2008,just to let everyone know.fifth is the universal orlando has posted new concept art for the three broomsticks pub for the wizarding world of harry potter theme park which is under construction at this time.and there is also a poll where you can vote to have either pumpkin juice or butterbeer there which is totally great,i choose buttereer which if i looked right most people did when the results came up.and we have four photos from the teaser tralier as well,one of harry,dumbledore and harry,young tom tiddle,and dumbledore himself. all links to see everything will be posted below and as always a big thanks to hpana for all this news.

Just an FYI, There was no HBP trailer with the showing I went to although it was apparently with the midnight showing my friend's sister went to. Weird,lol.

I also got the Empire mag with Harry/Dan on the cover Sunday on my lunch hour,lol. I got it at a book store just down from where I work; my mom was leaving the store and gave me a ride to grab some lunch and we stopped at the store on the way to see if they had it and they did. :D

Warner Bros. has just announced that the release date for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has been pushed back and will be released on July 17, 2009 instead of this coming November. This news has been confirmed with Warner Bros. by HPANA.

Alan Horn, President and Chief Operating Officer, Warner Bros. stated:

Our reasons for shifting Half-Blood Prince to summer are twofold: we know the summer season is an ideal window for a family tent pole release, as proven by the success of our last Harry Potter film, which is the second-highest grossing film in the franchise, behind only the first installment. Additionally, like every other studio, we are still feeling the repercussions of the writers’ strike, which impacted the readiness of scripts for other films—changing the competitive landscape for 2009 and offering new windows of opportunity that we wanted to take advantage of. We agreed the best strategy was to move Half-Blood Prince to July, where it perfectly fills the gap for a major tent pole release for mid-summer.

Jeff Robinov, President of Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group, confirmed:

The release date change does not alter the production schedule for this or future Harry Potter films. Post-production on Half-Blood Prince was completed on time, and the studio’s release plans for the two-part Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will not be affected by this change. We know Harry Potter fans are eagerly anticipating seeing the final chapters unfold onscreen. In fact, the good news for them is that the gap will now be shortened between Half-Blood Prince and the first part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

While producer David Heyman offered:

When Jeff Robinov explained the rationale behind moving the release date of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince to July 2009, it was immediately apparent that this offered us the potential to reach the widest possible audience. I am extremely proud of this latest film and of the work of David Yates and our incomparable cast; I believe we have developed and pushed the series further still. We are all looking forward to sharing it with Harry Potter fans around the world, even if we have to wait just a bit longer.

i know how you feel hunny,i want it too ! stupid nitwits ! the only other movie people are looking forward to is twilight and that's in DECEMBER!and harry comes out in NOVEMBER,so what's the problem ? nothing,they just want to go against the bigger movies that come out in the summer like spider man and transformers 2 and x-men,i mean come on ,when you put harry along side spiderman it's giong to be a tie.they are both great and both have the action but family related basis so it's going to be hard,they want harry to compete with the others to see if it sells as well as all the others but i mean come on,look at the books through the years and now the movies,and then the tapes and the toys and everything else,they are stupid to do this really,they jusy might lose some of the not fans for life fans,lol stupid idiots,i'm so upset by this, iwant to cry,hhhp.lol how are you today ?
