The Adam Sandler comedy "You Don't Mess with the Zohan" opened at No. 2 with $40 million, also beating forecasts. • Singer/songwriter Jesse McCartney, who collaborated with OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder to write "Bleeding Love," says he has a long list of artists he would love to write material for, including Sean Kingston and Mariah Carey. "I've always wanted to do a record for Mariah, so I'm in the middle of writing some stuff with her in mind, but she doesn't know it I don't think," McCartney tells Metro (http://www.metronews.ca/edmonton/entertainment/article/64356).
Meanwhile, "We Belong Together" is on Jesse McCartney's iTunes playlist. He says of the song, "A smooth R&B ballad with great harmonies. Mariah's vocals remind me of her back in the 90s."

"At the time, it was conveyed to me that it was supposed to be Usher, Mariah Carey and me. Obviously, that was a no-brainer as far as putting down what I had to do. I sent two verses to them. Then I get a call from a friend of mine at a radio station that they was getting ready to go with the record, but the version they had didn't have me on it."
