Live, Studio, Re-mix, re-re-mix I hate it. Would not be a bathroom break but actually ruin my evening at GS if played on Sunday.

Edit-- The echo, the lyrics, the music, the beat to me it is the anti-Bruce tune. Like nails on a chalk board.

Not a favorite, but it wouldn't take the shine off of a great show for me.

have to disagree with you i wasn't a fan of the slow opening from TOL tour but once it started it was great i think a fast version fits in really well with what he's doing in europe at moment.
mind you watching some of the posters here he could turn up do a 6 hour 60 song show and some of you would still bitch and moan,
if this is like i have seen so many of you post that this the last tour (i don't think so myself) for f**k sake shut up moaning and enjoy it because if you are right you won't have another chance.

Love it. a classic second single from a great, underrated album. (as underrated as you can be for selling 25 bazillian copies)

cover me is the best song from BITUSA,
IMO you just need a reality check. You obviously love Cover Me. Thats fine and dandy. One mans apple is another mans pie.
But I must disagree with your statement. Just because the song isint played live much doesnt make it the best cut on a album. BITUSA has 1-9 better cuts on it then cover me.
Can you say....................
NO SURRENDER !!!!

A veritable all star cast of respondents. I am not an idiot, I have found that for me every show I have attended has been a great show, some special but all great. As for Cover Me it is the one and only song that actually elicits this reaction from me so I felt compelled to share with the community.

Not a big fan of Cover Me so if i am an idiot, so be it. But i will say this Bobby Jean and Dancing In The Dark bother me a lot more. Surely, it's time for me to get rid of the beer in my kidneys when i hear them. And yet from the same album, i can never hear Downbound Train or I'm Goin' Down enough and some people hate Glory Days and for me it is a signature song of summer, truth, justice and cold beer at an affordable price. So again, diff'rent strokes....whatu talkin' bout Willis.

you have to be smoking something if you think bobby jean, dancing in the dark, and hungry heart are better rock songs than cover me

I love when folks back track from their original statements.
cover me is the best song from BITUSA
now you`re saying best rock song from the album.
I`ll still stay with NO SURRENDER
Now one may argue BJ,DITD and HH are not rock songs. But this I think I can safely say.Any one of those 3 blow away cover me from a popularity stand point.

My favorite part is 25 seconds in when he realizes what song it is the "fist pumper" starts right on cue. It is mandatory for all BITUSA songs.

Can we all agree that My Hometown was a bad way to end the album? Bobby Jean would have been a better choice and then you could have put My Love Will Not let you Down where BJ used to be.
hehe, i said BJ.
No Surrender is a pretty crazily good song. Goddamn it.
