Well, the wife and I are off tomorrow morning to catch a plane to Spain, to then catch a big boat for a week long cruise on the Mediterranian, before coming back and seeing the last two european shows in Barcelona. I heard rumors the Mo Riley traveling show will come back to keep us company..................as Tarik says, I kid, I kid :)

I will try and check in at some point if I can, so wish us well and let's hope we get a couple shows of our lifetime. If not, then I can always hope for them in St Louis and Kansas City ;) See you all soon.

Someone from LiveDaily had to represent in Spain :) Guess it is my turn. The sacrifices we make.

Randy:

Have a great time. It will be amazing, I'm sure. The Mo Riley travel club members would love to return to Europe but, alas, not in the cards....

Looking forward to seeing you next month.

Randy

You and Celeste will have a great time without the MoRiley travelling club - sure you don't have caviar for breakfast and champagne with your evening meal but it's europe and Bruce is there.

Oh, we had champagne for breakfast too....at least some of us, and ok, it was beer and tequila, but you get the idea.

You should have come with us, Andrew.

Just a quick note, and to check in. Just got off the cruise ship and had a wonderful time, more to follow when I get more time. Checked into hotel and looking for the best way to get to the stadium. Of course wireless internet doesnīt work at the hotel due to needing some kind of network key the hotel canīt supply me. Found this internet cafe a block from my hotel, which is a block off Las Rambles. Hope everyone is doing fine and will check in later. So sorry to hear about Annie, just shocked to say the least . Judy, give her family my sympathies.

Thanks for all the well wishes. We were at an Irish bar last night just off Ramblas, and they were cranking Bruces's greatest hits CD, lots of Bruce fans hanging out getting crazy, all english speaking folks in the bar, having a great time, nice little warm up for tonight..........starting to get excited about the show tonight. Definately looking forward to some craziness...should be an experience to say the least.

Doc, BTW, another Irish Pub to add to the list, they never knew what hit em :)

Went on the tour bus this morning and got off at the stadium around 2ish. Talked to many of the folks in line, including number 1, who has been in line since Wednesday night, now thats hard core. About 2500 folks in the GA line overall when I left. Bruce started sound checking around 2:30 and played only 2 songs, Prove it and Atlantic City ...twice. Was hoping to hear a surprise or two, but it wasn't meant to be. It's about 85 and breezy, real nice weather here and all week long around the Mediterranean, concert starts about 10:00 pm tonight. Lots of signs in folks hands, some I will question as he does those every night .

Well, off for a quick rest and some tapas, a drink or two, then on to the show. Will report more later. Adios amego's.

OK, little tired and maybe, well, not maybe, a little dissapointed in the first show. Let me start by saying I always wanted to see a Barcelona show and quite frankly, expected a bit more. Maybe just a little bit I thought the show would be a slam dunk, not tonight. As usual, any Bruce show is better then no Bruce show, but the set list was really a let down for me. Janey and Jungleland was the highlight, yes, you heard me correctly....oddly enough, the crowd was subdued on both. I felt like it was "POP" Born in the USA Bruce night tonight....mixed in with a the Risings' greatest worse hits...which, BTW, Barcelona absolutely ate up. The energy the crowd gave up was wonderful, but in all the wrong places in my opinion. Strange night for me to say the least. I feel Bruce owes Barcelona, and me, a better show tomorrow. As stated earlier, the requests on the signs were very average, every day setlist regulars...which is kinda odd for me. Maybe it is the lack of sleep, or the lack of downtime lately, but this is what I feel at the moment.

Sorry I couldn't bring better news from here, but tomorrow is another day......and closing out the european leg should bring better days indeed.

Talk to you good folks tomorrow, bueno noches.

Bravo, Bravo......I feel vindicated :) Much better setlist for me tonight and so much more energy in the crowd. Also so much better seats for night two as I was just to the front left stage 12 rows off the pit. I loved the opener of 10th, highlights for me were Spirit, Tougher, This Hard land, Murder Inc, and Youngstown back to back, Detrit medley and Rosie. Lots of variety tonight and special songs from my favorite Bruce catalogs......always special to get Thunder Road and a spirited version of I'm Going Down...I dont care what some folks think of that song, it kicked ass tonight and the energy it brought was outstanding. I think the sign they brought was the best yet....one of those lighted scrolling signs, just classic. Bruce and the band were in great spirits tonight and it showed. The crowd was so much more into it tonight then last night and had quite the treat tonight.

I am very tired from all the dancing and singing, but it was nice to get the show I expected tonight, very nice indeed. I will leave all the details to Jag, as I am sure he will do the show much more justice in writing then I. One more day in Barcelona then heading back on Tuesday.....a very nice trip indeed, although a bit short in my book :)

See you all back in the states, and thanks for listening to my complaints and compliments........glad Bruce read them and gave me the show I was waiting for !!! Bravo!!
