however I think it's pretty shady if she does win this year, since it would be for her worst video ever, I just think it's a slap in Britney's face, considering all the effort she put into all her past videos that completely deserved to win... you know?

I agree with you. But, if she has a chance to win, I hope she does.

The Public just votes for the videos that they want to be nominated. MTV will choose the winners.

It's tricky with MTV... will they continuously snub her? or will they give it to her as a way to get her to make an appearance?... it could go either way...

If she does get one, I say Best Pop would be more deserved than Best Female.
